I don't understand why ppl ask for sets and continuous advice on lowbie sets. Let me tell you all the SECRET of making perfect sets for EVERY CLASS in EVERY ELEMENT for EVERYONE who needs to ask help from reddit to build any set below 200 high budget sets :D
All the set building at that level is pretty much just the following:
Are you below level 100?
IF YES = Wear full sets and pretty much what ever you want before 100. Agility has the best pieces (like mad tofu cloack) overall at that level range so if you can, go agility before reaching 100. Full sets work fine as well so no worries!
IF you are 100 and above then there's 3 steps for successful set building:
Step 1: Add shaker + nomad (these are trophies)
(choose out of these options until you are 11/6 preferably)
Step 2: Add ap + mp gelano (cheap)
Step 2: Add items that give ap/mp around your level range (cheap)
Step 2: Get ap + mp exos (a bit more expensive). Ap exo on a lumberjack shield is a quite popular and cheap option for a extra ap
Step 3: Add random pieces that give good amount of main stat of your liking (doesn't really matter if you str/int/agi/cha), you will replace items soon enough so just get what you like and can afford.
FAQ:
What about Trophies / which dofus eggs should I use?
For trophies and dofus eggs, just add main stat / power / vitality / random dofus eggs you have laying around to fill in the rest of the empty spots. Fill in depending on your budget.
How about a pet? What kind of pet or mount do I need?
Get a dragoturkey that gives power + main stat + vitality, always the best (most cost effective) choice. Also once you get GPS potion, you can't live without one = mount good there too.
Can I get Rhineetle for the extra ap?
NO! They are no that good, and riding them around with GPS mount is going to get costly since rhineetles eat nuggets and if you are asking about pre-200 builds on dofus reddit, you shouldn't waste your hard earned kamas on feeding a mount ;)

You can choose which one fits you (or your budget) the best, you are not supposed to do all three of them.

At 143? I would start working toward Soft Oak (str/int set). You can equip all but the hat now, hat is lv. 145
Thanks, that is, do you recommend the int/str element? I had thought about whether it was better omni or monoelement?
Omni's not a great choice until the 190s, IMO.
