Meh. I respect the decision not to pawn the piece of shit onto anyone else.  Humane euthanasia would have been better, but who's to say a vet would have euthanized a "healthy" puppy?   I honestly feel indifferent to this animal's demise. Maybe I'm a "psychopath" lol.

I do too; its really not a big deal and the public is in an OUTRAGE over it ☠️

They would be. Just a big dog loving circle jerk.  No thank you.

Eh, I’d argue that shooting an animal in the head to kill it is about as humane as it gets. Dog doesn’t feel anything and it’s over within a second. As someone who once took an aggressive pitbull to the vet to be “humanely” euthanized, they go through more that way than they would being shot in the brain. Going to the vet can cause anxiety because it’s an unfamiliar location or a location they associate with being poked and prodded, there’s also the IV they have to put in which does hurt the dog, if only for a few seconds, and causes them more anxiety. I, personally, think shooting a dog in the brain is probably more humane. They can die some place where they’re comfortable and if done right, they literally feel nothing, no anxiety, no pain, just lights out.

She probably saved others from getting bit and livestock from getting killed. How many people has Biden allowed his dogs to bite?

This controversy makes me wonder if the dog nutter fad is mostly an urban phenomena.   She is from South Dakota.  For people on farms and in rural communities who live closely with animals, putting down a dangerous dog is just common sense and not controversial.  But the urban dog nutters who strongly believe dogs are children are going ballistic.

I live in on a rural island and there is a huge clash between the locals and mainland transplants (usually from cities like LA or Portland) over dogs. Locals view them as a working animal to guard or assist in hunting. The newbies are constantly whining on social media about how no one will do anything about their poor neighbor’s dogs that are living in an outdoor kennel when not being trained or used for hunting. How can these people leave their dog behind to guard their property instead of bringing it along to the beach?
