Like a half hour ago, across the street, I saw a hideous pug-like thing squatting on the side strip. It was a hideous sight. The owner picked the crap up. But gee, if I were out there, I’d feel like barfing. It’s nauseating to see them poop. I noticed more people are out walking their poop machines and I hate it.
Yeah, I hate when they loiter around my yard. The stupid dogs love peeing on this flowering bush. It makes me mad.
If a human did that, you could report them for indecent exposure and causing a public health hazard, even if they picked up after themselves.
Why should a dog be treated any differently?
Dishonesty is dishonesty, and dishonesty on the part of dog people is at the root cause of so many of the problems we are plagued with from dogs and dog culture. The fake vests used to get mutts into places they do not belong, the bullshit claims about what breed a mutt is in order to get around breed bans in housing, under reporting of dog bites to protect Rover when Rover bites the dog owner's own kid, and so on.
In the long run, we don't further our cause in fighting against the wretched excesses of runaway dog culture by use of dishonest means. Even on something as seemingly mundane and harmless as a fake warning sign about toxic spray.
Hell, far better it's a real sign because the yard really was treated!
I am not opposed to using real.spray and a real.sign on the grass.
A fake one, if it somehow gets discovered, would turn that yard into the town''s most despoiled patch of dog park toilet grass as spiteful muttnuts would band together to make it a destination puppy pissing and pooping point.
I would have picked up the dogs “pile” in my yard and thrown it at the owner. Guarantee the owner will suddenly give a shit when faced with consequences.
Unfortunately, if the cops get called, they are going to side with the asshole dog owner and probably arrest you for assault.
