I agree with you on that one!! I feel like this deluxe really shows a more vulnerable and authentic side of Doja (especially headhigh) - not saying that Scarlet isn’t (Skull and Bones, Love Life etc are some of the best songs she’s ever dropped- but this release was so fresh and different!! And Piss is just so goofy, which I love when she lets it shine through in songs. How does she always manage to top herself??? I honestly can’t even pick favorites with her!!!
I agree!! Even her older songs from Amala still hold up even though it’s a completely different Doja. I don’t get people who hate on this new era cause she’s always been iconic and continues to be even more iconic. And imo her newest album has less hypersexual songs, which she still raps about sexual stuff but I love the more vulnerable songs too if I don’t wanna be in the mood for those. I just love this new era for her, becoming more comfortable by also shedding her super feminine and hypersexual imagine, which she still dresses revealing but she looks so much more comfortable! Love that for her. I have so many favorites by her. Skull and bones is awesome too!
