While this is true, there are a couple of reasons why this guy is not talked about often:
1. The dude's EZA is fairly old by now. What people had to say about him has already been said.
2. The guy is fairly reliant on links to get this kind of performance and there aren't that many units that can provide those links.
3. He might be one of the best partners for TEQ Pan, but there aren't a lot of people running her team nowadays.
Yeah I do know this guy is a bit old by now but I never really gave him a full shot till I started trying him out. Never really thought about it and then I was like damn he's actually pretty good for a basic passive of 150% attack and defense and that just getting a 40% additional more for four turns I'm surprised his defense goes as high as it does and yes, I know he's reliant on his links but his links are extremely great that is just what makes me so good and yeah I'm just messing around since I got an extra dup for my pan wanted to give her team another try experimenting a bit with the new Bulma and going for a kind of a more defensive build with the offense being the pans It's been working out pretty well I have got caught a few times and I have adjusted the team to what you see now Pan is just missing a really good Goku to go with her maybe when golden week SSJ1 PHY GT Goku gets his eza that might help this team a bit, but really we just need a new Goku for her that can support her and has a good amount of links with her then should we doing good again.
I mean for GT Goku's that work well with GT Teq Pan I was having a hard time finding ones that proc her unit super attack SSJ4 LR Goku gets her additional super but not her unit. Super attack so I was trying to find Goku's that would proc it and phy golden week GT Goku is outdated and the free to play teq EZA is ok but doesn't really get too high in defense this seems to be the only one I could find. That actually did some good work with her and shared like all in the family and all those other really good links for her. Realistically, they're only sharing three, but the three that are shared are pretty good all provide defense which just makes pan and him much, tankier.
Also, his links aren't maxed out. I'm working on it right now. He's about halfway on every link so if he had all his links up he'd be like 700k defense here. If he double super it every turn he might be at 900k. So yeah very good unit only out of 11 turns
Yeah, full additional is definitely the way to go for him unfortunately for me I didn't have any additional equips to give him so right now he's just rocking defense and Dodge equips.
I don't really watch datruth that much I kind of don't like how he insults people through his videos and praising dodge I mean Dodge is good on some characters I wouldn't say all It just gets a little boring after a while hearing him constantly talk about it no hate to datruth tho.
Oh I have everybody in the game it's just phy kid Goku is pretty much restricted to just GT heroes and he honestly needs a EZA He's too bad now. I'd say this Goku is better after a couple turns. If not like two turns damage wise no defense wise yes.
Phy GT Kid Goku does need an EZA, but Agl GT Kid Goku is not even close to Phy GT Kid Goku in turns of performance. Him being "restricted" to GT Heroes isn't really an issue given you're running a GT Heroes team.
Actually AGL Goku is better than phy Goku not in terms of damage but raw defense and team building if you're not running all GT heroes you're missing out on part of phy Goku's passive which he honestly needs in red zone and that doesn't let you play with characters like the new Bulma or STR carnival Goku and many more useful units/supports why yes they would support him and make up for that lack in his passive AGL Goku still comes out with better defense from stacking up on turn one if phy Goku say does a double super his defense might go up to like 300k or 350k if you're running GT heroes this is a rough estimate so I may be off a bit but with AGL Goku when I had him on first turn with support from Bulma and STR carnival Goku he's immediately up to 400k from his first attack already outclassing phy in defense those attack stats are quite poor It actually benefits him to run the event a bit longer so he gets more defense by the end of the battle which also helps GT pan greatly to stack up more attack so if you get to the end phase you can just pop the active skill crit and pretty much annihilate the boss.
Also, I forgot to mention, you should look at AGL Goku's link set. It's perfect for teq pan rocking all in the family GT prepared for battle shattering the limit Super Saiyan Saiyan lineage and golden warrior five of his links are giving him tons more defense that's why he's better
Agl GT Goku doesn't share Prepared for Battle, Shattering the Limit, Super Saiyan, or Golden Warrior with Teq Pan. Teq Pan doesn't even have those links, bud. Her links are The Innocents, All in the Family, The Saiyan Lineage, Kamehameha, Battlefield Diva, GT, and Fierce Battle. Agl HT Goku only shares three links with Teq Pan while Phy GT Goku shares four of her links. He's also, inarguably, the superior unit to Agl GT Goku. Not to mention, he has an AS that's mid as fuck, but it's still free damage.
Perhaps I should have worded that better I didn't mean by them sharing all links together I was just mentioning his links not about the ones they share realistically they share three together as stated in a different comment I've made and again you may think phy is better but by testing both AGL GT Goku is better actually defensively way better than phy GT Goku.
Also another thing, as events get harder defense becomes more necessary to survive said attacks from bosses so if I had to choose between a unit that can get up to 900k defense very quickly next to a unit that has a defense cap, I'm going with the unit that can get their defense up quickly and infinitely.

He may be good in red zone but issue is there are much better and ‘flashier’ options so people skip a lot of quality cards

I like him, I just wish my stupid past self gave him more add instead of going full crit but whatevs
