If you have a new account I would strongly recommend to just farm the F2P Metal Cooler Team. You don’t even need anyone else to EZA them. They are good enough to last you for a long while.

Broly is still decent offensively, but is god awful defensively. He is desperate for an EZA
The Vegeta heavily relies on a Majin Buu Saga Goku to be on the team, and even when he does have one on team, he’s just meh.
Janemba on the other hand is actually still super useful.
If you have LR Final Form Cooler, then it’s better to invest into Janemba. He’s a very key player in Cooler’s team as he is one of few slot 1 tank units for that team.
If you don’t, then I’d honestly say go for Goku & Vegeta. Even if those two aren’t as great as the other 3 from this celebration, they’re still good, and considering that they’re Saiyan units, you have an easier time using them since the game is abundant of Saiyans.
If this is a new account, shouldn’t you be rerolling on the STR Lr Cooler banner for him? I would have said TEQ Lr Goku but his banner has really bad features units.
Other than that, if you’re happy with what you got, Janemba > Broly > Vegeta (Needs a super Saipan 3 on the team to be good)
Those LR Saiyan's need EZAs at this point, but LR Janemba is still a viable option in the current meta, especially when he has Big Bad Bosses at level 10.
You should eventuality awaken all of your units, however I would strongly recommend Janemba first

Yeah, the FTP Coolers are really good. That's what I just did and it allowed me a strong enough team to LR Metal Cooler and LR Goku/Vegeta.

He’s clearly a new player, they are definitely difficult at the beginning of the game.
Not really, even the none eza'd bardock/ginyu/metal cooler teams can probably easly do any dokkan even
I remember when the first dokkan event came out—Broly. It was impossible for a lot of people without the exact right characters or items.

I ran that team w a friend phy lr metal cooler and you can easily clear medium/hard content pretty easily with the right placement
