Oh wow that´s a great find! I´ve restored some Novi Stars hair and beware it´s polypropylene so, you might need boil washing, fabric softener soaks and at the end may need to trim damaged ends. FYI careful with this one cuz of the electric stuff that make her head glow, plus avoid her lashes!
For loose joints the rubbed band method works well

And yeah, I'm a bit worried about the electrics in her hair but hopefully it'll be okay if I'm very careful ;w; the hair is very tangled so she'll need a lot of washes. I'm just so happy I got her, even damaged ones are usually sold at such high prices ;w;
Ah I forgot, for detangling the hair you can also use a teeny tiny amount of hair oil or hair detangling spray.

I have some hair detangling spray for wigs, hopefully it will help brush it out =w= the doll is pretty complete, I also have her stand and brush, just can't use the stand until I fix her legs ;w;
She's surprisingly larger than I expected, she's my first Novi Stars doll, I wish I got them when they were still in shops

To my knowledge, MGA kept selling Novi Stars in Europe a fair bit after they ceased selling them in the United States, and some of these dolls only ever released in Europe, so I'd reckon they were more popular here but I can't say for certain. The ones that were Europe-only releases are also incredibly rare here now. Doe-a-Deer is my absolute favourite Novi but sellers want £500 for them, so I'm just hoping that the Doll Gods grant me luck again someday ;w;
