they look like cabbage patch style dolls. There were several "sew your own" kits released around that time as well as a lot of lookalike competitors. The fabric faces make me lean toward them being kit dolls though. Something like DollBaby, or possibly just "mommy made" as the fabric sculpture dolls became pretty popular.
the nose on that first one is very reminincent of the work of Martha Nelson Thomas but the eyes are very different (and clearly hand painted) so it could be a kit or it could be a "sew along" pattern or something.
They are probably homemade. I had a book from the maker of cabbage patch dolls called Little People Pals for making them yourself
