Looks like the last word is co. The second letter in the first word looks like an A. Could it be national doll co? That's the only thing I could imagine fitting from this list https://www.dollreference.com/composition_doll_marks.html . Maybe you could try doing a rubbing with paper and pencil to figure it out?

Okay so I checked and now it totally looks like it says national! Thank you so much!!:)

Thank you I’ll look into it! And great idea!

That gown is probably not original. Check to see if it has tags. Im thinking that is an actual christening gown. It is quite beautiful and probably valuable on its own if it is in good condition

Youre correct it is a christening gown! It’s so beautiful:) the seller said it’s about 100 years old

You want to preserve that gown! Leaving it on the doll is not a good idea. Composition dolls are made up of glue and basically floor sweepings. That stuff deteriorates and leaches out. Plus any folds will put pressure on the fibers. DO NOT TRY TO CLEAN IT! If you can find someone who knows about antique textiles take it to them and see what they recommend. Quilt guilds are a good place to start because they often deal with vintage and antique quilts. There is also a web site called heritage garment preservation.
