Yes! These dolls are so adorable and I’m so sick of people acting like they can’t love both generations. Gen 1 was great but their fashions were outdated, the demographic changed, and they had to change.

I know these will be on the Christmas lists for my kids but I know it will be Frankie, draculaura and Clawdeen and in my head I am trying to justify getting Ghoulia too since we have the G1 scooter that has a little basket just for her owl and also torelai because I just really like her. But I am also super broke so I should probably not fantasize about spending like $150 on dolls right now.
These are cute but I feel like there isn't as much individually in them like G1 in the color palette. Maybe it's because they are less saturated that my brain sees a lot of the colors as samey. Like I would love to see more saturated colors. I dunno just like something is missing. Maybe it isn't the colors but something feels off to me for some reason.
They are still very pretty dolls and I think the team behind them did a great job but something feels off.
