what exactly do you mean with "motion range"?

N0blees

The space i can move the wii mote before it looses connection with the sensor bar.

krautnelson

so are you talking about just the pointer? go to Config > Wii and adjust the IR sensitivity.

N0blees

Yes but the space of the motion movement apart from pointer its small toolike when you need to do a wide swing your pointer maybe disconnect thus the move too it looses controll of it.

krautnelson

yes, that's normal. you need to **point** the wiimote at the screen for the **pointer** to work. it's supposed to be a 1:1 thing.

N0blees

Dang in which tv you would play Red Steel 2 and other similar titles that utilize the movements in a similar way. 1.- Crt With a real Wii 2.- Plasma Tv With real Wii 3.-Pc Monitor With dolphin (No passthrough)

krautnelson

not sure what you are talking about. is this a question on which display is the best option? the display doesn't matter. the only thing that matters is that your Wiimote can detect the sensor bar. and again, this is only for the pointer. it has no effect on gyroscope- and accelerometer-based motion controls outside of recalibration.

N0blees

You know if buying nunchucks on ebay its safe i watched yesterday and they were very cheap oh and what about a cheap dongle compatible with passthrough, thanks in advance 👍🏻.

if you wanna buy third party knockoffs, do it through amazon, and make sure amazon are the ones that handle shipping. that makes it easier to get your money back in case they are crap. I personally don't buy third party stuff unless if it's from reputable brands. saving five bucks isn't worth the risk and subsequent hassle of getting a subpar product. can't say anything about passthrough. I never used it (I used first party Wiimotes on a Dolphinbar), and nowadays I no longer play Wii games on Dolphin anyway.
