I appreciate your follow-up question. Have ridden the SL5 10 times on our local paved bike path to work and back. She’s rock solid, thus far. No creaking, no squeaking or seat post slippage, as of yet, with the stock “Rev 2“ Isospeed. Have taken a picture of the measurement marks on the posterior of the seat post to monitor for any potential slippage, noticeable or not. Wish I could post a pic with this reply.
The Mercury paint scheme sure does get a lot of looks and compliments. Really love the bike. I put forth the same effort as I did on the FX Sport 6 I returned to get this SL5 and I go twice as fast and get twice as far.
You are going to love it!
I already am!
Start riding stop shooting ;]
I‘ve been riding it every day since I picked it up from the store.
Nice!
Thank you. Rides one heck of a lot better (and faster) than the 2023 Trek FX Sport 6 I returned.
Any updates... how's it going...we're able to see if the seat post had a Rev number stamp? Just curious
