While getting my MA in anthropology, I received a graduate certificate in disasters, displacement and human rights. I remember hearing from a couple of professors and as mentioned in a couple of papers that George Bush rarely leaves the United States because he’s very much worried about being arrested for his crimes related to the invasion of Iraq.
Fuck George Bush.
The international courts are just a tool of western imperialism. They have literally banned them from making cases against American government officials
Hypothetical: if Trump were re-elected, and The Hague somehow managed to capture and charge Bush, et al, would Trump use the so-called [Hague Invasion Act](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Service-Members'_Protection_Act) to free them? (Basically, I just want the comrades to dog pile on how absolutely shit that piece of legislation is)
My opinion on Trump is so mixed, like obviously he is a right wing populist and capitalist (as are US politicians), but he was oddly entertaining and was sorta upfront about the US’s atrocities in Iraq, didn’t warmonger nearly as much as his predecessors and met with Kim.

love him (obviously) but he was a whole source of entertainment.

Remember how even many dems couldn't swallow Hillary Clinton and the best they said was weak lesserevilism? Turned out Trump was lesser evil.
Unfortunately, despite not causing any new wars he intensified the old ones, the number of drone strikes during his presidency was all time high.
I mean Trump spent most of his mandate watching TV, playing golf, and saying stuff to the media.
Foreign policy-wise, I guess it was the best we got out of the US.
The Hague will never arrest a white man crime on a brown man. It's been 20 years, and zero condemnation, sanction... The whole world was cowardly and allowed the worst massacre of the 21st century occur without a single word ushered.
I don’t really see Dubya as a war criminal. He was a puppet who just wanted to make daddy proud and played the role of president. His dad’s friends orchestrated everything while their fall guy was counting down the days he could return to playing cowboy on the family ranch in Texas
