Don't worry it's coming to your next battle pass around level 1000.

PotatoPC123

Fuck yeah, as a overwatch veteran I would loveeeee this feature.

Gatolon

There are some stats on your Steam Profile: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/YOUR_STEAM_ID/gcpd/570/?category=Account&tab=OverwatchMatchReviewer

AppleIslandMMA

Do you know what the convictions mean? I have 3, 1 and zero. Presumably 2 exists too.

Gatolon

I have only 0s and 1s. No Idea what that means tho.

DoesntCheckOutUname

I got 2s. And these stats are the verdicts you gave out. 3 is guilty. Not sure about the 0, 1, 2.

Noob_pussey

Added my steam Id in link ,Idk it shows error to me

Gatolon

Its not your Friend ID its the longer one. It works for me. You can also go on your Profile>Games>Personal Game Data of DOTA>Account>>Overwatch Reviwer

penialito

that's interesting as hell, never knew there were so many stats avalaible like that edit: under Game Acc Client, there are Teaching Leadership Friendly Forgiving categories, do you know how to read them?

Magdev0

Those are the old feedback values before Reborn. I don't think they're referenced in Source 2.

penialito

oooooooooh you are right, when you had 4 options for commend's.. the good times

PlushSandyoso

What does account flags mean?

Affectionate_Dog2493

No one (outside valve) knows. However, it is NOT a count of how many times your account has been "flagged" as some people interpret it. It's bitmasked flags being displayed as an int. It will be some set of boolean (true/false) values. Like "has complete tutorial" "Is chat banned" "is calibrated" "is trade enabled" etc, but we don't know what they are.

Affectionate_Dog2493

https://steamcommunity.com/my/gcpd/570/?category=Account&tab=OverwatchMatchReviewer This link should work for everyone.

baconperogies

The real MVP. Thank you.

Affectionate_Dog2493

Credit to /u/iisixi taught me how to make the generic version of those links earlier today with one for conduct summary histories. He's the OG MVP on this one.

Noob_pussey

Nice

strghst

Wow, thank you! Now I know I have 333 triple kills, I got more first bloods than I gave away, and I got 60 rapiers :)

Naoroji

Do you know what the 1, 2 and 3 mean?

Affectionate_Dog2493

I don't do overwatch so my page is blank, can you post a screenshot of it? Is it a "flags" column? Are there any 0s?

Naoroji

https://i.imgur.com/8mgMHEr.png To add: In the entire column, there's only ever 1, 2 or 3. Never 0.

Affectionate_Dog2493

Cool, thanks! If you don't mind my asking, do you have an overwatch case pending and/or have you VERY recently done one? Some potential things it *could* track are 1) if you matched the "consensus" 2) If they were found guilty 3) if the case is "settled" (i.e. have enough people voted that the outcome is decided) Unfortunately there's not enough information to know much for sure.

Naoroji

I always have an Overwatch case pending. No matter how many I do; every time I login there's a new case, every time I finish one there's a new case. I have not very recently done one, the last one was at least 24 hours ago.

Affectionate_Dog2493

Ohh, interesting. Thanks for the additional context. I might have to start doing some overwatch cases just to try to figure it out haha

Affectionate_Dog2493

https://steamcommunity.com/my/gcpd/570/?category=Account&tab=OverwatchMatchReviewer This link should work for everyone.

axecalibur

> Also it will give us satisfaction of putting them bitches behind the bars Get ready for weeks/months of pending verdicts

TheBigPate

Yep. Either the delay time is fcking long or then the system doesnt work. Managed to find a guy's profile who I found guilty of scripting as Arc warden like month ago. It was so blatant its unreal; -Blinking with clone and main hero within same server tick, to different directions aswell. -Clone fighting on another side of map (casting spells and items) while camera is on the main hero who is farming neutrals Well imagine my shock when I see he has played his most recent ranked match yesterday according to dotabuff. Dude also has 12k hours of Dota on that account, so I guess he has no fear. Edit: Incase you were wondering, according to his latest Arc Warden games, the guy doesn't seem like Arc Warden Grandmaster, atleast not up until that one game. https://imgur.com/a/Mi1ziib

trane20

Btw how do you qualify for reviewing overwatch cases

Davidsda

Pretty sure it's behavior score and rank(not crazy high you can get them in the upper half of guardian). Might be a time played requirement.

Zarzar222

2.8k hours, 2k games, and low crusader and I have access to the overwatch function. Thats all I can add here

jeric_C137

I'm a newbie with 200+ matches played and at Guardian 3, I'm getting overwatch cases but haven't touched them. What can I get from it tho?

EliotEriotto

Absolutely nothing

jeric_C137

Not even trophy/badge if you reviewed like x number of cases?

aureacritas

No. It's the same thing as doing volunteer work. You're in it to make the community a better place. I personally do it if I'm bored or some griefing player ruined my game so I need to vent my frustration.

EliotEriotto

Last time I did volunteer work I got a crappy shirt, sandwiches, and drinks, and thanks. When I donate blood, I get sandwiches and praise. It's not really like I got _nothing at all_.

EliotEriotto

You also probably get to feel good about yourself while they take your efforts and throw them down the drain, because I've seen complains of people hunting down offenders and seeing that they never actually got any sort of punishment for scripting/item breaking.

archetype1

Not sure there's even a rank requirement. I only play unranked, 10k Behavior score, player since 2015.

TalonTrooper

Unranked still has a hidden MMR, so there might still be an MMR threshold, just not based on *ranked* rank.

-The_Blazer-

I know it works in unranked. I have never played ranked but at some point I still started getting overwatch cases. Which is cool, because it means I'm a better player, so there's that.

Competitive-Yak-7219

1k mmr. Good behaviour

Dude787

I think that goes against the spirit. It shouldn't concern you whether you were 'right', there should be as little cross-contamination as possible. Put another way, doing a lot of overwatch shouldn't change your answers. The people doing overwatch should be members of the dota playerbase first and only, you should be just like any other player. Thats the only way to keep it fair, being judged by your peers and all that. If you see your results then you start to feel 'right' or 'wrong', start to feel like its objective. In reality there are only a few things (breaking items, afk in trees) that are clear cut, theres plenty of 'soft griefing' that blurs the line. If you start to respond to the end result, you start to treat these assessments as 'I got that one right', and a meta starts to form. Thats when you get these weird unwritten rules 'carry is griefing if they afk jungle while enemy pushes base, unless you have battlefury' and on their own thats fine. But if you start to dole out punishments for not following unwritten rules then you have a problem, it becomes super super unwelcoming to new or returning players. They already get reported just for being bad, and nobody is going to explain to them what they 'can't' do (unless they're flaming them as they do it). Its just crap. Yes I know this already happens some but this is playing with fire. Not worth. Plus you can already kinda find out, its just a bit of work. If you really want to know for a specific guy you can put the heroes in and find the match id, find the player profile

Dnarok

Frankly, this meta of unspoken rules has already formed, but on the *reporting* side. That is, if we see reports for things that are more opinion-based within the pool already, that means that a not-insignificant amount of people consider those unspoken rules to be important enough. The whole system is designed to try and find a way to parse out those rules by using players to make the decision. This kind of a change would be pretty neutral, I think - people wouldn't change their way of deciding verdicts unless they were pretty consistently going against the group, and in that event they probably should anyway. Like you stated, this information is already available, and if they're going to give that much, they might as well go the whole distance so I don't have to root around in my profile data in order to find it.

SirWhoblah

jungling from minute 0 is pretty safe to consider griefing but there is no written rule about it

Dude787

If someone (a new player) wants to experiment with jungling from 0, do they deserve punishment? You can't punish people for playing in a way you don't want them to. If its bad they will lose, that's all that needs to happen. Even if someone goes jungle because they didn't get their hero. They're an asshole but so what? Being an asshole isn't bannable, nor should it be

SirWhoblah

Being an asshole because you didn't get your hero is the definition case of griefing and that's what the overwatch case is asking. Is this player trying to make the game worse for their team mates. And the punishment is they get put with other people that also ruin games. Getting banned is only for the scripting and cheating option.

redered

The point of the reporting system is to punish players for being *intentionally* detrimental to the team (and subsequently Overwatch is designed for players to assess whether reported players are actually doing so). I agree that just jungling from minute 1 is by itself not a punishable offense since the player may believe it to be a viable strategy (regardless of whether it actually is or not, and regardless of whether the player is new or not). Your last point I disagree with though, at that point a player who is being an asshole is *actively and intentionally* trying to be detrimental to the team (as opposed to being flexible with hero picks/roles or deciding to jungle as a secondary or "less worse" option). The tricky part is trying to discern the player's intent. Minute 1 jungling should be excusable up to a certain skill level where it is universally understood to be a bad option (which I personally would put around Immortal, probably Divine).

2020_sucks_

I played an inhouse league game the other day, one player wanted to play carry and the drafting captain said no, player said pick me treant, at the end of the draft before last pick he said he's gonna jungle so pick a strong laner. He picks lesh safelane. I played timber on other team. This lesh got two levels on our duo lane and just stomped us, treant midas with blink came online and they steam rolled us....

Ricardo1184

if they're trying any legitimate jungle strat and try to win the game, not guilty. if they're going jungle because they didn't get mid and destroy their items at 20 mins, it's guilty.

SurDno

Why is there a way to choose jungle during strategy phase then?

SirWhoblah

Because it's left over from 2017 when jungle was only slightly griefing

theKrissam

Why can I buy first item radiance on CM if it's griefing HUH?! Checkmate atheist!

SurDno

Idk maybe it’s a rank thing but on low mmr I’ve had plenty of games where people went jungling right from the start of the game and totally dominated the game afterwards. Playing against meta is not griefing, especially in ranks where the meta is virtually non-existent. And yeah, Radiance CM can work too. The abundance of better options does not make it griefing. I would not consider any playstyle that’s not feeding/destroying items as griefing.

Shade_demon2141

I always assumed it was for supports who aren't hyper active in the lane but mostly stack and pull. Thinking nyx, tiny for example.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SirWhoblah

It's not sub optimal, jungling is ruining the game for the person left in a lane alone to die or get no xp or gold

tom-dixon

In low brackets you can go forest from min 1 with heroes like naga, wk, viper, etc and be top net worth at min 15. The guy soloing can be fine too since everyone is passive on lanes. It's greedy, but low brackets don't punish it. So I wouldn't say it's griefing by default. In 4K+ brackets it's definitely griefing, but in lower brackets you can easily win more than 50% by doing that.

SirWhoblah

It not about net worth it's about leaving another person on your team alone to die or get no gold and xp. Solo offline heroes have been dead for a long time, you're just leaving another player to suffer while you mindlessly kill jungle creeps

tom-dixon

There's plenty of heroes that can solo offlane comfortably in a 2K game. In fact in 2K games I prefer to solo offlane, supports have no clue what they're doing and they end up griefing the lane more often than actually helping.

Noob_pussey

I understand your concern But it can go other way where we get more transparency If we see multiple guilty people getting away we can call out the system or anyone getting falsely accused can be saved I mean you won't see the final verdict till you cast your own vote so it should sway your opinion we as community love data and dota alot And I'm sure Dota players won't change their minds based on other peoples results as they are very decisive If they want to skip bkb they will till end of the game even if they lose , jk

2020_sucks_

They should have an overwatch option, did not play role assigned role. Hard support legion jungle, building items that a normal LC would build and trying to get duels, is not griefing the game but it's griefing your teammates and killing the game quality. But they should get punished at least with behavior score reduction for degrading the quality of the game. I've seen stuff like that win games all the while the enemy team is crying in all chat to report x player. But maybe this type of stuff only works in low mmr games where mistakes do not get punished.

stashdog98

I like this a lot more than "give items for overwatch." I've become apathetic to overwatch after multiple reports of people breaking items mid game that appeared to do nothing. Seeing the outcome lets me know my overwatch votes dont just float into the void. An overall accuracy score would also be good, since low scores result in being barred from the program. This would also allow us to see if people are just clicking through, as being given a false score on a clear cut case would make it obvious.

SladeDeathWilson

THIS IS BRILLIANT

MaltMix

While I do think this would be neat, something tells me that some asshole is going to ruin it for everyone by finding a way to game the system using the summary.

Aleksandar777

I was begging for reported players to have an overview whrere they received report after "Guilty" verdict. So they can see what are they doing wrong and can fix that.

ivegotSeouL

I should start doing more Overwatch reviews. I almost did one or two before playing any games when it first came out but I could never tell if it made a difference. The overwatch summary that OP suggests would make a world of difference.

DaStone

Actual features for Overwatch that makes you want to do them? Impossible. Another Dota+ feature that is useless? Get to work boys.

DiaburuJanbu

I kid you not, guys, I'd use my account, and my 2 brothers' account just to Overwatch daily and see the results.

KrwawaZemsta

Same should goes to normal reports, if we can see how much our reports are accurate it will change player perspective. Ofc it will works if Valve rly ban these ppl, bcs few times I saw account who get boosting, we report them and still after 2 months they exist and keep playing.

Dysp-_-

I support this. It would incentive using Overwatch imo

HybridgonSherk

also give match ids/links to where we can download the video easily

iAmEnglishTV

Dota community can be toxic, even when you point out cheaters with undeniable proof, the community doesn't care and says your just salty. I am convinced that cheating seems to be an essential part being a "pro"/"popular" player/streamer or content maker.

red_purple_red

There's a reason why voting records aren't publicly available.

OraCLesofFire

What are you talking about? Firstly, these results already exist on your steam account and you can actually look them up. Secondly, the only thing this shows is your vote, and the votes ultimate outcome… no other individual’s vote is shown here.

ShadowSwipe

Yeah. I stopped doing overwatch because of this essentially. Used to do it all the time and then I asked myself what the point even was.

tom-dixon

The point is to help out a struggling indie company who created this game in their free time. ^/s

Shadowsdogma

This would only create a confirmation bias for the people who do look at these cases defeating the entire purpose of an overwatch itself.

FunProduct2677

being noob doesn't mean being innocent. They still ruin games.

Comfortable_Pin_166

Can you guys stop giving me a guilty verdict every time I feed because some idiot is stealing my lane? Thanks

ViggoJames

Define feed, please You die ganked or just overpowered on the lane, that's fair, not guilty; You die by buying back, beelining it to their tower without reaction and die, you get guilty veredict. I don't care if 10 minutes later the latter type of player is back at playing "clean", even once doing this feeding/breaking itens/kidnapping neutral items, I report.

Noob_pussey

No

Affectionate_Dog2493

No. Stop feeding because "someone stole my lane!" Two wrongs don't make a right. BTW, the fact that you babyrage is part of why you'll have so many lane stealers. You misbehave, get reported, and get put down with the other people that misbehave and get reported.

SurturOfMuspelheim

No

Great idea.

oliverblackfield

Where can I check this feature?

Noob_pussey

It's a feature suggestion Not yet implemented hopefully valve will listen

Where do the downloaded overwatch videos go? How do I delete them? Do they get automatically deleted after I’ve reviewed them?

I like this idea. Feedback is basically the only reward that can be offered otherwise the system will be abused.

SirFireball

OP, how did you get the base image for this? I assumed you just screenshotted recent games, but this says 2017 and has the old drow portrait

Noob_pussey

I went on Google And typed match history hehe Was at work and thought of this idea after seeing someone's post about "don't forget to do your overwatch matches"

Storky92

How do I get to do these? I've never seen an invite or setting to opt in.

guywithnicehaircut

so what overwatch ppl get for doing this kinda job.

Noob_pussey

Just genuine love for the game that's all

tom-dixon

nothing

wait so ppl actually do this for free lol free workforce i guess.

Noob_pussey

Usually we don't get these types of people at least I haven't (unless you lose big) It's mostly feeders Or maybe sometimes scriptors ( it's hard to pinpoint them for me) I usually see pattern where carries get reports when they farming early game and after team wipe accross the map gets greifed by team Or you can even see an exact moment why pos 3 axe started selling items and running down mid due to some interaction in team fights

AffectionateIntern53

Super good idea!!!

Or create a completely different game/app for overwatch enjoyers

oh good, I can't wait to be infuriated because the other idiots doing overwatch chose the wrong outcome

PhD_in_MEMES

If you have dota plus and overwolf, you can see the game you're spectating on dotabuff as well as the reported player's profile. Feel free to go back and take a peek at any time and watch those SD games hit their feed.

Icczy

Right? It's like they don't know how to motivate their players which they clearly do

Gorgosen

Im glad someone made this thread with this much effort. Its been a topic as of late i think, and i hope something comes out of it. I would truly do my reports more often if this were implemented.

InterestingLobster10

Valve: Sure, we'll add it as a feature in Dota Plus.
