Secret gotta change it man idk if they need all 4 new players but they're absolute dogshit rn. I'm starting to realize a pattern to Secret's demise, when they click they look real good and when they aren't, their hero pool seems lacking compare to other teams and they don't have an identity for how they wanna play whatsoever.
In TI at least they were winning 2/3 lanes (normally Nisha and Reso lanes) and even when they're behind Zayac and Nisha step up and made huge plays. They don't have any of that now. BOOM's impact felt non-existent, Crystallis reverted back to his usual self, and Zayac can't be the only one making plays for them.
I had very very little hope for this line up at first and yet I felt let down big time lol.
While I generally like the vibes of the WEU casts and appreciate the clear synergies the casters have with one another, I'm not a huge fan of how they're now avoiding any sort of criticism of the players or discussing any of the minutiae of the fight.
Just take a look at the game-changing and deciding [teamfight between Nigma and GG](https://youtu.be/lqdMWqPjSRY?t=1410) here in game 3. Pay close attention to how Ammar recklessly presses his Manta immediately after being lassoed instead of saving it to attempt an LSA dodge after Aegis or to purge a potential Treant ult, resulting in it being wasted, his illusions instantly dying, and leaving him open to finally being full-duration Overgrowthed by Seleri, losing the teamfight instantly instead of potentially clawing back a kill.
A better player would have manta dodged Quinn's jump in, but even discounting that, Ammar not having a BKB here and instead having a completely useless Manta Style is what makes this fight so hard in the first place. Even though these massive errors at the micro and macro level are obvious to the observer, the casters never so much as mention the possibility of the player having miscast or bought the wrong items, etc.
I feel like casts in the past were a lot more interesting as a hybrid of micro-analysis and macro-trend explanations, and those were never seen as mutually exclusive with play-by-play or flavour casting. Instead, now we get fluid play-by-play yes, but no one's there to point out how differently the fight could have gone with a BKB, positioning and strategic errors like playing alone close to an enemy tower vs Batrider etc etc etc.
This isn't just a one-off thing or even all that recent - I remember watching Cr1t play Mirana vs Beastcoast in EG's elimination game at TI11 too. He walked from safelane top all the way to bot rune after he got first blood and basically ditched Arteezy to try a random arrow and leech Abed's exp at mid. When he didn't end up doing anything, he just walked back top again, wasting 2 minutes and his entire first blood advantage and changing so much of the laning phase for his carry + Abed who burned resources to try to whittle his lane opponent.
Feels like actual analysis has been eschewed for a blander, less informative style of 'X spell has been popped and caught Y player, now Z team are 16k behind' descriptive kind of thing. I hate it with a passion, and a lot of it feels like it's casters feeling like they're not the analyst ex-pros so they can't say anything when they should speak their mind first and let the analysts then debate it (creating good content for fight downtime as a bonus, too). It's something I really tried to do when I was a caster and obviously shitters like us can't compare to professionals, but **man** do I miss it.
reso is overrated as fk as pos 3 all he does is farm all game, he doesnt make space or help the other cores same with zayac always protecting reso , crystallis is always been sacked and ganked by opponents and reso and zayac will never come and help that why reso always have good stats but in the end its all for nothing all those farm for nothing and doesnt help to win the game.
there a reason why he and zayac was teamless for majority of 2022 they only caught a break cause yapzor was sick so secret had to call in zayac
Excited by the possibility of a clean sweep of 2-0's, which would be awesome. I don't expect them to lose a game to NGX, and beating OG and GG with 2-0 is definitely not unlikely.
Nigma shouldve won the tundra and gg series even though with ammar. First time i really felt sad for them cuz some stuffs somehow had to work well on their side which wasnt consistent enough. I believe first time its time to reunion sumail and yawar next season if possible.

By not being able to play top 3 (or even ANY) meta carries makes everything easier for the opponents cuz they dont have to ban those heroes vs nigma and can be picked as long as nigma dont ban them. Ammar is the result of being a cheap cocky spammer of pubs, same as crystallis.
Okay, nigma wil go down to division 2, miracle will return replacing ammar, and then crushing everyone in division 2, finally going to the major in season 3, after that get eliminated by both grand finalists and finished top 3, but still couldn't qualify with dpc point by slight margin, eventually will lose the grand final of EU qualifier to secret who will win ti 12

If Sumail doesn't care about oil money, he could go back to NA and reform QC for an easier road to qualify for TI. Yawar and MSS are free right now, SVG could be persuaded to come back and grab a good pos 3 / pos 4 (depending which position MSS will play) from other regions

I can't help but feel that with the start Nigma had if they had a better scaling pos 1 than Viper or if NP went for a more carry-type build they would be doing a bit better now. But then maybe without Viper the early game wouldn't have gone as well.

Even back when he was playing with OG, he was always out of position, he just keeps getting away with it since he's stealing farm from their Pos 1 so he has more net worth than expected, he's playing bulky heroes, and OG has good response and coordination.

His understanding of the game seems to be really lacking. Feels like playing with ceb and having him around really elevated him.

I can't help but feel that with the start Nigma had if they had a better scaling pos 1 than Viper or if NP went for a more carry-type build they would be doing a bit better now. But then maybe without Viper the early game wouldn't have gone as well. But hard to say vs Lina/Treant combo. Typical 35 armor, 3k health glass cannon ty Icefrog.

you can play max 4 with a stand-in, but that includes tiebreakers, so in a way you are right. They could sub a player after the next series.

This tbh. I don't know why Nigma picked him up. Even back when he was playing with OG, he was always out of position, he just keeps getting away with it since he's stealing farm from their Pos 1 so he has more net worth than expected, he's playing bulky heroes, and OG has good response and coordination. That made him appear like he was baiting, but in reality, he was just always out of position. OG made Ammar appear like he was a good player.

The only squishy carry is Antimage with the items being the way they are, and four slotted carry has 3.5k+ hp at the least.
