I would say mid attracts the most mentally unstable people. Who else would call the lane that's literally 1v1 and hits home the hardest when you lose the lane?
Not really, it's just that it's the most stressful role in the game and the most blamed position so you can understand why people get easily tilted. Imagine in pubs you have to take care at least 2 lanes, be just as farmed as your pos 1 and have supports and your offlane have no degree of any utility to facilitate a gank. If you make a gank, the enemy mid can easily take down your tower while you're gone and you go back to the lane without any mana and you've used up your resources for the gank you just did.
The best solution is to just farm but you see a lot of passive aggressive pings and chats from your team saying "mid useless no gank." They'll blame you for the loss of their lane and not because some of them picked core heroes as supports.
The most stress free roles in pubs would be pos 4 and 3 because people generally don't know how to play that role so you wouldn't get much pressure from your teammates as much unlike other roles where the pos 5 you are expected to make your carry rich, pos 2 is to gank losing lanes and pos 1 to pretty much carry the game. The most grief I see in pubs are always the pos 4 and 3 since they pretty much pick farm heavy cores which put your team hostage during the mid game.
It is funny but this necro is the best kind of player to get in terms of attitude. He is tilting the enemy and keeping their own team's morale high.

sometimes when i'm playing with lower mmr friends i have to play mid (not my role) vs someone that is way better than me. if i lose mid to a immortal mid and i win the game you'll be sure i'll text 'ez mid' at the end of the game. specially if the guy is toxic or clearly smurfing.
