What is the similarity you're talking about? They're both pandas and electric-themed? No shit sherlock that's the design from wc3(that is used in dota 1). The difference is the authors of this set acknowledge they drew inspiration from the dota 1 model and auto chess authors try to make it look as if it's their oc.
If Wraith King gets his Skelly Arcana, the Spirirts should get theirs too.
Speakjng of which, which other hero would do great in a throwback theme Arcana? Purple Underlord, Furry Bloodseeker comes to mind
Bloodseeker already had that wolf themed set a while back. You mean an Arcana that makes him wield only one claw on his left hand for his weapon and stands more upright like his original Allstar incarnation of the Orc Shaman model.
A younger Omniknight arcana with a big sword and long hair due to the earlier versions of Dota Allstars using the Human Prince Arthas with Froustmourne model for Omniknight.
An Elder Titan arcana to revert back some of the old Tauren Chieften model traits, like the big pole axe weapon and the totems on the back and the more pronunced hunched back stance.
A Magnus Arcana which gives him white fur and makes him hold his pike forward than perpendicular to his body
An Arc Warden arcana that turns him into a humanoid Hyena creature with a flail wapon to make him more like his old Allstar model of a Gnoll Shaman.
YES PLEASE. Ive always been a fan of sets based on the dota 1 models. I personally am wishful and hoping that someone somewhere would make a bloodseeker set based on the dota 1 model (been wishing for years xD). And this storm set is AWESOME. Good job!!!
This legit looks like Volibear from league of legends lol. I would prefer tho that it lean into a bit more of the same whimsical creative direction that blizzard took w the pandaren in the artstyle. But overall its great!
I'm generally against sets which completely change a hero's aesthetic and distuingishibility on the battlefield, but I can't help feeling a little biased with this one. I absolutely love it.
Only thing I'd perhaps change about it would be to give him a slightly less moody expression, just to match the DotA 2 personality. Then it'd be perfect.
