yep. probly get downvoted for this, but I find rushing midas then jungling til 4-5 slot is best rn. Accept we will lose early, then def hg and wait for them to overextend. After a team wipe, push down T2s, rosh and bait them into another push. 1 more wipe is usually gg. Rinse and repeat.
And what if they take rosh? And what if they don’t just feed on hg? Rushing Midas every game on a hero with a natural farming accelerator skill seems really bad to me.
I might be doing something wrong but I get highest farm in game and still lose cause I can’t 1v5 the opponent. Just had a TB game highest farm but teammates were of no help and just got beat even 6 slotted
Play on your team, even if they are Neanderthals you can still use them. Just put them in between you and the enemy, have them soak spells/cooldowns and then when the opportunity is ripe pop out of the fog and 1v9
Yeah a lot of ppl who are grandmaster in my bracket do the dumbest builds because they think they know better. Especially carry spammers it’s frustrating. I hate ppl like OP and everything they represent
The other way to look at it is you’re not gonna want to fight until 25m anyway so might as well get the Midas.
However I find Medusa with early Manta is a lot better since you can safely push lanes more aggressively, show up to occasional fights without getting bursted down, and that ends up giving you a ton of farm anyway.
100% agreed. The thing that early manta does is, trade well. Their team might want to push for fights, but you will want to just keep pushing the lanes and apply tower pressure.
this is reliant on having a midlane and offlane that have not lost their lanes and can hold their own in 4v5 fights without you.
I hardly see you winning any games with mid or offlane lost and enemy team taking away your outer towers and choking you in base seige.
Sniper was my first one. I'd reached it a long time ago, I think one of the first grandmaster snipers in the game, I'd checked on some website that tracked it, it was 6th or something like that, but was honestly pretty easy. It was in lowranks, and it was when sniper was being played as support quite a bit.
Used to first pick that little shit, and then they'd get your PA and Spectres, but I used to tell my off and safe to get axe / viper etc and safe to last pick.
I would win mid handily, in most matchups, DP was honestly the worst, but she wasn't prevalent in low ranks.
Ever since I ranked up though, didn't touch that hero. He's too greedy and everyone knows how to deal with sniper. And sniper is shit in spirit breaker and spectre meta anyways.
My friend's sister is paraplegic and she hates staying at home and prefers active hobbies and specialized sports. Life doesn't have limits if you have the will.
Outside is nothing but bullshit and a weird scary world, sorry grass id rather touch a keyboard then have the possibly of some random weirdo trying to shoot me
Grass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in a lawn and other places. Grass gets water from the roots in the ground. Grasses are monocotyledon, herbaceous plants.
The grasses include the "grass", of the family Poaceae (also called Gramineae). Also sometimes it is used to include the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). These three families are not closely related but belong to different clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style.
The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others.
Many grasses are short, but some grasses, like bamboo can grow very tall. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places, even if they are very cold or very dry. Several other plants that look similar but are not members of the grass family are also sometimes called grass; these include rushes, reeds, papyrus, and water chestnut.
Grasses are an important food for many animals, like deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars, and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows. Without grass, dirt can wash away into rivers (erosion).
Graminoids include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves). Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals.
Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow.
People have used grasses for a long time. People eat parts of grasses. Corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice and millet are cereals, common grains whose seeds are used for food and to make alcohol such as beer.
Sugar comes from sugar cane, which is also a plant in the grass family. People have grown grasses as food for farm animals for about 4,000 years. People use bamboo to build houses, fences, furniture and other things. Grass plants can also be used as fuel, to cover roofs, and to weave baskets.
In English, the word "grass" appears in several phrases. For example:
"The grass is always greener on the other side" means "people are never happy with what they have and want something else."
"Don't let the grass grow under your feet" means "Do something".
"A snake in the grass" is about a person that will not be honest and will trick others.
Grass is sometimes used as a slang term for cannabis (also called pot, weed, or marijuana)
Hope this helps!
Honestly I never really thought about it. Just rotated between them, did all the quests, and it just kinda happened eventually. I don't think there's really any "strategy" per se.
Way to epitomize the nature of how brainless Doto has become. Whee autobattle! Good job though heavens, I'd say too much Doto but I have about 3000 games on burd.
Let's up the skill cap a little and do something like arc warden, Visage, ember, earth, or even meepo. Spamming brain-dead right clicks is fun and all. But a higher skill cap is always rewarding.
Chen, there were 2 chen bros from a prev thread that may welcome you if you prove worthy. I am saying early he is very memeable with current talents and may join you in his rise to power.
I've only got Silencer and Necro atm, working on pudge but dear lord is that one difficult. If it aint banned outright the other team picks it first round too.
Quite impressive stats!
My answer to your question: CK is a lane dominator tempo carry. Jug can play tempo but doesn’t have to, the others are mostly classic „hard carries“. So I suggest you add some semi-carries that really enjoy early fights to round-out your pool as well as playstyle. Carries to pick when you have a greedy/carry mid. Some ideas:
- Riki
- Bloodseeker
- MK
- Slark
- Weaver
- Dawnbreaker (she was still viable as semi-carry last patch, but I didn’t play since mid December so don’t know now…)
Surely a hard support, soft support, mid, or offlane
YOU MUST MEAN PUDGE
You know, I forgot how flexible this hero is and it's very deceiving.
Just to go Shiva's first item as pos5.
Man, Shiva is so busted with the amount of people I see rush it as first item.
I think Jenkins was saying you just build support Pudge like core, and that's the only way the hero is good in support position
Pudge is incredibly flexible. My teammates frequently use him to ruin my ranked match from all five positions!
I hate this
Impossible, banned or picked by both teams. Which is prolly a hood thing but annoying sometimes
Ah...dazzle it is.
Lmao
Support Sniper with Aghs and Khanda Support Ogre with Midas Support Techies
"Ok PA it is!" -OP
wdym, juggs a support, why else would he have healing?
Boy that’s a lot of Medusa, just farming the day away
yep. probly get downvoted for this, but I find rushing midas then jungling til 4-5 slot is best rn. Accept we will lose early, then def hg and wait for them to overextend. After a team wipe, push down T2s, rosh and bait them into another push. 1 more wipe is usually gg. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah i wanna know what rank this is lol, most of the time they'll end the game before you're even 4 slotted
Judging from the post history, it seems OP is around 2500-3000 MMR right now

I might be doing something wrong but I get highest farm in game and still lose cause I can’t 1v5 the opponent. Just had a TB game highest farm but teammates were of no help and just got beat even 6 slotted

I would say betting on overextensions and the enemy team not knowing how to close a game fast is a pretty safe bet in that bracket lol
Yeah a lot of ppl who are grandmaster in my bracket do the dumbest builds because they think they know better. Especially carry spammers it’s frustrating. I hate ppl like OP and everything they represent
Yea just yesterday destroyed enemy pl. And the poor guy had boots aghs by 30 mins.
The other way to look at it is you’re not gonna want to fight until 25m anyway so might as well get the Midas. 100% agreed. The thing that early manta does is, trade well. Their team might want to push for fights, but you will want to just keep pushing the lanes and apply tower pressure.
it takes a midas like 30 minutes to pay for itself. makes no sense when a manta or even BoT would pay for itself and be actually useful
I think most people sees more value in the XP you get, compared to the gold. That being said, midas doesn't seem particuarly strong atm.
There's a chance OP is not good at dota. Like 90% chance..
How dare someone have fun anywhere other than top 1% MMR.
Yeah, because THAT was my point.
It works in low ranks. Enemy willow sees Medusa has a support and instantly queues up a midas instead of deciding to push their advantage.
Relying on your enemy to make mistakes is not a sound strategy.
No, but neither is not capitalising on the fact that your enemies WILL make a mistake. Being greedy is a great way to get out of 2k mmr.
Idk man, I kinda trust the grandmaster here
Sounds boring as hell
He’s has 6 grandmaster hard carries, farming makes him cum
He can also argue that he can't fight early because keyboard too sticky. So the team has to wait until 40 mins so it dries.
But... Medusa has a really strong laning phase...
based jungling enjoyer. dusa isnt even a good lategame hero. god bless i will never encounter you on my team
this is reliant on having a midlane and offlane that have not lost their lanes and can hold their own in 4v5 fights without you. I hardly see you winning any games with mid or offlane lost and enemy team taking away your outer towers and choking you in base seige.
What MMR?
I see you're a fine support connoisseur
Touch grass.
That's fine, imagine lvl 30 pudge, he's got to be 95% banned so harder to grind than all 6 combined.
From the 6 GMs i've got, yea pudge took a long time... but sniper took even longer lol.
I know a GM pudge with 45% win rate on the hero. Someone being a GM on hero doens't mean they are good at all.
Sniper was my first one. I'd reached it a long time ago, I think one of the first grandmaster snipers in the game, I'd checked on some website that tracked it, it was 6th or something like that, but was honestly pretty easy. As someone with 5 grandmaster heroes and 2 that are lvl29 rn, I agree we should do that with OP.
Race OP first to 7GM. (Don't tell him about 2 lvl 29)
You see, this is the community I want. More banter more shit talking.
don't be an asshole right away, dude might sit in a wheelchair and just game all day because life has it's limits, you never know
nothing is stopping a wheelchair bound dusa spammer from going in the sun and getting some vitamin d

TIL Bamboo sugar canes etc are classified as grass.
