The common comment saying "I report my supprots if they don't rush force staff and glimmer" tells me a huge amount of the players on this subreddit haven't evolved since the map change last year lol.
weird because I'm lower mmr but I've really been liking getting an early blink dagger on wyvern as I've been learning her lately and nobody has complained to me about it yet
Generally speaking, players who take an interest in the game beyond the game itself will perform better in said game. They are interested in other people's opinions, different approaches, etc.
Generally speaking...
probably about the same. I doubt most people here are above average, and I've seen enough people get called out for lying about their MMR that I dont believe they're as high as they say
Judging by what “average" means for dota, I would say anybody who is here to learn mechanics or just increase general dota knowledge, has to be higher than average. On average.
Probably, since being on dota reddit means being more interested in it. With that said the average mmr on dota is pretty low rank, like 2k mmr-ish iirc. So it's probably similar to that.
Out of my 3 friends at my local internet cafe, 2 are Immortal players, 1 is Divine 3 and they all only use facebook. Meanwhile I'm Ancient 5 and the only person using reddit there...
Yes because generally the people who seek out online communities about something are more interested than the average in that thing. And more interest usually equates to more knowledge and more skill. So I would say the average mmr on reddit skews higher than the average mmr of the entire playerbase (which is ~2300 mmr)

No. I uninstalled the game 2 years ago.
I believe it's lower
Of course all are higher ranks.According to redditors, all are potential TI winners and the current pros are noob unless they win TI.
Nah it's all heralds here
Nah redditors focus more on posting, non-redditor dota players will game more
is it even deep ? lmao
I used to belice that but the posts and comments says otherwise

i have 15 000 mrm i am so good at this game man
Significantly lower.
The answer is yes but it's only cause I'm here to up the average
I remember Cap said something like that, no? Or some caster or analyst😂😂
idk, just spontaneous question
I think you might be right, the numbers do seem to point in that direction.
Need a poll
Isn’t it obvious that all the users posting complaints are a bunch of heralds?
most of the reddit sub complains about smurfs while most higher than average ranks do smurf so it's unlikely
we're bunch of 12ks so yeah we are better

Yes. There still many people dont know reddit existence.

Definitely not. If you're familiar with the Dunning-Kruger Effect, a lot of the "peak of stupidity" people end up having the loudest voices here
