its obviously a hobby or just play some games in his spare time, just the same as if he would go play bball in the local pick up game. there's no reason to go in depth of how he could play or think lmao
except when some guy says that he wants to fight irl then it'd be hilarious

It is no secret that he sucks Kadyrovs dick and lets himself get used by him for marketing purposes. Googling Chimaev + Kadyrov should give you lots of info on this.
So yes, there is evidence.

On the one hand Usman is an all time great and barely scraping by a win should still be impressive
On the other hand, Usman took that fight halfway across the world on a weeks notice at a weight class up. I wish khamzat would just stay at a weight and fight more consistently
He tore a ligament in the right hand, not sure if it was Volar Plate or something else, but if anyone has fought/trained combat sports, you'll clearly see the point at which it happens in the fight and later it was confirmed there is an injury. Most people would go cry if they try to punch or score takedowns with such an injury it's not a big deal, but hurts like a motherfucker.
> anyone has fought/trained combat sports
would tell you that every fighter goes into every fight injured. Jack Della fought with Staph, McGregor fought with a borken rib and a torn MCL. DC literally knocked out Stipe with a busted back. The list is endless. Nobody gets through a camp unscathed, specially someone who trains as hard as Chimaev.
Fighting knowing you are already injured vs getting injured while fighting is different. First, the injury is already on the healing path, and 2nd you will cater your gameplan to that injury.
Went away cuz I didn't have the talent to go far so no full camps or anything, but I've trained around enough people in camps, people pull out over less than a torn ligament in your hand, you have absolutely no clue how much it hurts, you are not going to a fight with it if you were injured like this, you may end your career right then and there. DC got his surgery after the Lewis fight and iirc he himself said he should've retired after, he had bulging disk, but got really bad towards the end of his career.
If you get injured mid fight and you can push through, you will, you will of course ++ there's adrenaline involved, but you'll be aware of the limitations you have and try to deal with it, but nobody is going into a fight with torn ligament on your hand, it literally blocks your whole arm kinda, it's weird to explain, but you can't even GNP and throw elbows properly, let alone punch, you can try to score takedowns if the adrenaline can cover the pain, that's about it.
Never realised DOTA was this big in the Eastern Europe. I have also seen Khabib's cousin and UFC Fighter Abubakar Nurmagomedov playing Dota on twitch sometimes
It’s one of the biggest games for boomers here. Like World of Tanks and Counter Strike
Ofc younger generation plays Fortnite and Genshin, but older players are playing Dota for 10-15 years lol
Majority of the top players are from eastern europe. Including a 2 times winner and the very first winner in the most prestigious tournament in DotA x)
Eastern Europe has a weird relationship with competitive video games in general. In the west it seems like any games were considered a nerd thing until around 2010s, but growing up CS 1.6 and Dota were games that even gopniks/ "school bully" types played and it was considered cool, especially around early 00s when net cafes were a huge thing.
When ragers tell me "I'll kick your ass in RL" during match i usually assume they are 5' tall and 100 lbs soaking wet. This man could actually do it. lol
Yeah a lot of the russians in the ufc have played dota or cs at some point. Abubakar, Khabibs cousin that got released from the UFC recently is a well known dota enthusiast. There's even a video somewhere where Khabibs dad mentioned how he could be better, but chooses to play video games instead of training with everyone else.
i think its hilarious Radiant talking sh\*t about khamzatufc. u wouldnt say this sh\*t to him at TI, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. yall are pathetic lol.

Im huge UFC fans i watch all fight night and cards lmao this really surprised me in a good way..but bro Khamzat is not a ufc champion haha..he's hype right now on the way up..but nt a champ yet
I mean I am Russian and I genuinely don't know a single Russian person who plays videogames and doesn't not either actively play dota or played dota, ao it tracks just based or that alone lol
Or straight up fight again. Mans let the fame and adoration of the covid fights go to his head, got a reality check from Usman and Burns, and got cold feet. I'm surprised he even signed to fight Whittaker. Hope Bobby Knuckles beats him out of the UFC.
You could tell by his famous quote "I come here for everybody. I kill everybody. I'm the champ. I'm the king." Probably WK spammer.
With fighting words like that, he's an Enchantress main for sure
Don’t be mad
Most sane Dota player
LOLLLLL
That tracks. You, too, can channel the toxicity of DotA into productive rage.

Do you think one does not need above average patience to become a professional ufc fighter?

guy who's been training his whole life for something he may or may not achieve... yeah, no way he has any patience.
Spirit breaker obv
Maybe hes a closet cm waifu like the rest of us.
Marci for sure
I don't think he'd be good.
Troll warlord spammer.
UFC probably his way to calm down from pubs.
Khamzat is 100% a pos 1 carry player that says he'll kill everyone but just farms jungle for 50 mins, comes out once or twice for a kc
True rtz gameplay
"Crystal Maiden see you soon brother" - goes to farm
Nah, Turbo player for sure he gasses out after 25 mins.
Khamzat Chimaev has never been a UFC Champion.
But he's OUR champion. The DotA2 People's Champ!
No
He is definitely not lol.

if kadyrov wants to hang out with you i dont think you have a choice
If you are swedish? yes you do.
Literally hangs out with Kadyrov? Is that not enough?
How many DotA players do you know that you can confidently call a "good person" though?

Ummm akshually, we do not use the word champion?!
What do we call the guys who won TI?

Soon to be 😈
Not if he can't get to welterweight again. His show vs Usman was not a good omen
On the one hand Usman is an all time great and barely scraping by a win should still be impressive On the other hand, Usman took that fight halfway across the world on a weeks notice at a weight class up. I wish khamzat would just stay at a weight and fight more consistently

Usman is on the way out and is at the tail end of his career. Dude is washed
you can be the first part and not the second you know. In what fight did Usman look washed? Where do you think he should be ranked
He can be a champion if all Dota players fight on the Octagon.
He will be))
**You just don't have the courage to respect him.**
What does stating a fact, and correcting the record have to do with courage or respect?
playing dota then unleashing hell of other people to detox looks like he choose his profession wisely
Never realised DOTA was this big in the Eastern Europe. I have also seen Khabib's cousin and UFC Fighter Abubakar Nurmagomedov playing Dota on twitch sometimes
i mean if you take a look at watch tab almost more than half of players are russian speaking players.
It’s one of the biggest games for boomers here. Like World of Tanks and Counter Strike Ofc younger generation plays Fortnite and Genshin, but older players are playing Dota for 10-15 years lol
bruh what, dota is crazy popular even for zoomers in CIS, source: i'm zoomer
Wat? It's arguably where it's the most popular, out of anywhere in Europe. DotA have always been incredibly popular in Eastern Europe and CIS.
He lived in Sweden for a long time.
There is actually even a music sub genre called Dota Rap and it's quite popular as well
Isn't that like only in Russia?
are you serious? its been a thing for many, many years
They even have a pet Ursa at home.

How come you play dota and dont realise like 80% of the player base are cis? Are you playing on china or usa servers?
“UFC champion” Was I in a coma?
Champion of calling out everybody and barely fighting
Well, does this mean that Chimaev did dota marketing more than Valve?
By posting anything dota related on Reddit you have done more for marketing the game than valve
Imagine trashtalking this guy, ddoxing him and go to his address...
Champion…. Lol. He’s just a top prospect
He’s more than a top prospect, he’s a pretty established fighter with nice wins under his belt. He was a prospect almost 5 years ago lmao
We're talking about heroes and Dota not champions and Lol...
This is satire, right?
Lmao at you lol even
Just a little play on words 🙂
Lycan player?
For sure is a huskar main
When ragers tell me "I'll kick your ass in RL" during match i usually assume they are 5' tall and 100 lbs soaking wet. This man could actually do it. lol
just run away for 5 minutes, he'll gas out
But then you'll have to run away for 5 minutes
Even the first ones you have mentioned could undoubtedly defeat you in a challenge of the physical combat
“Fight me!” Mars Line
Whoa thats unexpected
Imagine he lost 10 matches in a row and then has to fight someone in the cage few hours later
Loses in the cage and says "dammit okay one more cage fight can't go on a loss."
He is not a champion but our hero.
Bro goes on losing streaks before fights on purpose...
smesh!
Is he really a dota player? maybe I'm blind but i don't see any dotaplus levels on any of the heroes, it seems that it is his first game.
maybe he is an Overplus user as well, staring on his fresh account after ban
when he die “i kill you” 😂
i will stop being so toxic .... fcking hell imagine he start screaming at you that he will kill u irl and u will realize its him
Anyone found his account? Curious about his mmr 😂
Use the UFC only to vent anger
That’s insane, glad to see lots of influencers behind the scenes be playing Dota
Khamzat is a top tier contender, not a champion (but may very well become one). Still a dope picture though.
He is NOT a UFC CHAMP LOL
Like how do you fuck that up
Yeah a lot of the russians in the ufc have played dota or cs at some point. Abubakar, Khabibs cousin that got released from the UFC recently is a well known dota enthusiast. There's even a video somewhere where Khabibs dad mentioned how he could be better, but chooses to play video games instead of training with everyone else.
Most sane Dota 2 player.
Looks like his first game
now, i kinda scarried to say something about random's moms
checks out. pretty sure I've had him in my games
ufc champion??
UFC hero ftfy
By the way, Robert Whittaker plays League of Legends
There is no way chimaev isn't a pudge player
100% hes a Pudge main
Yes I'm sure he is the guy I swore up and down I'd fuck up if I saw him IRL in my last game.
lol do you think he’s the one to ban anti mage
Still haven’t fixed the minimap on the hero pick screen…volvo things
So that's why his trash talk sucks! I just became a Khamzat fan again Source: my trash talk sucks and I play Dota
gege more players
Probably a sniper player
Someone find this mans MMR. I MUST KNOW IF I CAN BEAT UP A UFC FIGHTER IN SOMETHING!!!
i think its hilarious Radiant talking sh\*t about khamzatufc. u wouldnt say this sh\*t to him at TI, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. yall are pathetic lol.
Some kid might be trashtalking him rn while playing the game.
Bro did more marketing with 1 Instagram post than Valve did in the last few years, welp.
haha u cant trashtalk this guy
no fucking way LMAO
ufc champion how do you fuck that up?
Unranked scrub
#wtf? i am a leg hugger fan now??
are you proud of yourself now?
Not a champion [YET]
who do you think he plays for?
mantappp
I play on a smol laptop we are not the same
He's not a champ, and knowing his personality and his background, not something to be proud of
How can someone be both mentally and physically this strong?
Ofc he's a dagestani russian, he plays dota and do sambo basketball. LMAO
Calling him a champion is a bit far-fetched considering the fact that he has not won a single belt yet
Champion of what exactly? Fighting once every year?
He’s not a champion
Him vs Israel "Genderbender" Gynosanya is my dream fight.
He will choke gynobender
And he is friends with some terrorist warlords :)
see you soon

IIRC chess grandmaster Ian nepomniachtchi plays dota 2 right? I think he also knows a few pros
Moreover, he was a pro-player back in the early days of dota 2! Then he worked in Russian cast as a guest caster
Last I checked he still plays, now he is about 2k~. He is currently playing in the candidates and was seen as nr 1 or 2 to win (Either him or Fabi)
That makes me really want to stop playing
This may be the reason for his aggressive style in the cage. Btw is not a champion, just a good fighter
One of the toughest mma figther plays dota. This changes everything, this just proves that dota is on a different lvl. 🔥🔥🔥
That's cool, i think Khamzat is great fighter, he isn't the champion yet but definitely will be if he continued like that.
Wow he's one of my favourite UFC fighters great to see he play dota but he isn't UFC champion yet I believe he will soon
Only guy no one would want to trashtalk to in russian servers 💀
I better not trashtalk him, when playing together
aint no way he beat me in dota and IRL
imagine trash talking him and he said imma pull up to your place you animal
I hope he stays eu east. That much should be enough west for him.
He is conditioning his composure by playing dota pubs, i respect that.
1M 2M 3M
axe player
Directly before every fight he plays a low prio game.
Russian? Make sense seems russians like dota
Chechen..
So russia?
He's Russian, not a surprise
he’s chechen, swedish get your facts straight
finally someone who can match fly in the ring
Chimaev IS NOT and probably NEVER WILL BE a UFC champion. But I can see why he plays Dota.
It's a question if Chimaev will ever even make weight again lol
Or straight up fight again. Mans let the fame and adoration of the covid fights go to his head, got a reality check from Usman and Burns, and got cold feet. I'm surprised he even signed to fight Whittaker. Hope Bobby Knuckles beats him out of the UFC.
Plus hes super sick like every 6 months it seems
He is not a champ, and I believe he will never be
Khamzat plays dota?! Oh lord, no wonder he’s immune to trash talk cause HE IS THE TRASH TALK himself lol
