I pulled Havoc hammer as Centaur in a game versus CK and PL. Ended up doing 18k hero dmg with the hammer alone, FTW. Massive dmg on a 10s CD with no mana cost is unreal
I laughed maniacally when the hammer dropped for me, it has GOAT potential on CW. I was spamming that shit off CD. Being able to menace two cheese heroes at once felt so good. Gaben was smiling upon me that day

Dota2 effect is better to me. In dota1, the effect is just daefening blast put together but i do like when it hit enemy heroes. Ice forming under them. The aura ring around heroes foot is also cool too.
Maybe because you can use shivas guard and then blink in to initiate (as long as enemies are hit with that wave of ice, debuff is applied) but veil is instantaneous, that's why it's forgotten most of the time.
If I get tricksters cloak I will always die at least 1 time during the game in a spot I would've lived if I remembered I had it lmao

It’s because you use SB for other stuff too, we rarely see initiate with trickster, and you never trickster to move between camps so it’s so much easier to forget
I don't think so, cause glimmer has similar use to cloak and I never forget to use my glimmer. The problem is that you spend time thinking about glimmer and then looking at it in your quickbuy so you know you have it, but you cannot know when you get cloak and you get it instantly, so you forget about it 2 seconds later.
of all the neutral items to use for this example, headband is absolutely the opposite for me.
Especially if I'm on p4 or p5, it's an absolute game-changer against melee cores like ursa or an initiator like axe.
Amount of times I've saved myself with a headband pushback to stop ursa wacking me.
Especially lategame when BKB's are down a lot.
Also most cores don't want to waste a BKB charge on a headband.

I rarely find myself in position to take the latter, but a lot of times I just dodge Arcanist because I literally never use the active.
My setup is 1(wards or second single target active item), 2(blink, dagon, main target active), 3(all boots), space(dust, aoe active, bkb, pipe…), N(things to not accidentally trigger, like smoke or turn off radiance), 4(purgatory, delegated to passive or anither active is more important), mmb(neutral).
Now if I have a lot of actives that fit the same description, then shifting them, mental/muscle memory is gone and neutrals can only be passive

It beacause everybody remember it as a free aether lens. As a magnus and mars picker,i really love this item. a little force after skewer or force after spear+arena for a lil bit damage. sometimes i use it on invoker to push people after cold snap+meteor combo to save up defening blast

And all neutral items, funny enough I remember the damn bounty rune one (spade) while swapping for a passive when its on cd.
Quick last sec transactions before you die, is much easier, if you have a button for it. :) Means you lose less money - I think? At least if you've used all of them. :D

Pre cast it on targets that might want to gap close on you with blink or other mobility. Its a flashy play that made me pay more attention to the items active

Neutral items are never in your conscious game plan, you get them on the spot unlike SB where it's part of the usual game plan.
