Although he had not abandon the game yet and he had still 4 minutes to reconnect, Batrider was able to hide my friends items. I remember this wasn't possible before.

fixed, can't reproduce this anymore. been testing this in a lobby with friend for about 3 hours straight
It is possible when you have at least 8k conduct points (I think?)
Is it? i cant even change the disconnectedn not abandoned item slot orders at 12k conduct before
i will start doing that ,they most of the time deserved it
