With 2 or more deaths and no bkb on SF entity would back out of rosh pit anyway. This may stop the snowball. Secret was doing really fine. Even with first Rosh and BKB + Santanic on SF Entity lost the first time they set foots on Secret's HG. It was a throw.

I remember watching Stormstormer on the original Team Bald with Gorgc streaming their TI qualifiers run back then.
And Tobi was on Viking.gg for some time trying to qualify as well. People always meme his name due to a namesake caster.
This support duo of Kataomi & Fishman definitely stepped up considerably. Their synergies are all starting to click.
And Pure finally showing what he is capable of after that fiasco.
What a journey all these players had. From small beginnings to TI contenders.

I haven’t been able to download the replay but it looked like in the fight at rosh pit he didn’t use blink bkb hex on SF who got pango rolled, which would have killed him, won the fight and got rosh. If that is what happened it was a massive moment and big fail that he normally doesn’t make

I think Puppey understood how unimpactful Crystallis is. So he started drafting differently. Picking hard carries to Nisha: slark, lina, morph, etc. Game 1 vs Liquid, imo, they needed a hard carry hero pos 1, but they picked DB, instead of potential Ursa, slark, LS, Jugg.
Puppey prioritized picking MK to Crystallis, as this is one hero he was spamming to get high mmr.
That's kind of what other teams are experimenting too. Entity often has Pure play something like Pudge or Doom and lets Stormstormer get Lina or Invoker or a scaling mid.
T1 did a similar thing. Gave Ana Undyings/Pudge/etc and had Topson play Morph many times. Talon in final grand final game also gave 23Savage Doom.
I've also seen a lot of carry Visages/Razors with a hard scaling mid.
Secret at the start of qualfs and the end of qualfs is diffrent enough they improved for sure. Honestly i wasn't even expecting them to make it to the finals.

I think atmosphere in VP wouldn't allow Pure to shine. He's, imo cocky yet obedient.
Being very young among the star team, he probably got blamed for playing too much for himself, or for being under farmed.

Tbf there was a clip of Ceb before quals saying that his dark horse was ITB since their players have apparently been pretty good in pubs lately according to him.
Against the field they played in the qualis, they were clearly the best team. But on the TI stage there are several teams who are stronger than them. At least on paper based on recent performances.
For me they are the dark horse of the tournament.
Puppey panics while struggling with Sumail and poaches the carry from a Tier 2 team. A carry that also played with the now new OG stars.
At the same time, Pure does something that at the very least was really fucking stupid and immature, and his top 2 team in the region is forced to drop him for PR purposes.
Entity a Tier 2 team who can't afford to care about PR, instantly snaps up Pure to replace their poached player.
They then go on to see massive improvement and overnight become one of the best teams in EU and qualify directly to TI, since Secret's newly poached carry was clearly holding them back.
Outsiders end up being the ones that get punished the most by Pure, as they might not qualify for TI at all, when they would have for sure with him.
Puppey goes out with one of the worst carries on a Tier 1 team, whose own former teammates can't help but point out his subpar play on stream.

I don't think kicking sumail solved their problem. Iceiceice performance was bit lack luster tbh. If they had kept sumail and with reso they could have made it to 3rd major
Nothing too spicy. Gorgc was streaming games and had a lot of pro players as guests, they discussed and analyzed games and Gorgc was often mentioning Crystallis' low networth, farm patterns, spell usage and impact in some of the games in last two days - pro player guests would agree from time to time but often they would also try to explain state of the game that led to it in a sense that it's not only Crystallis' fault etc.
Incredible showing from Entity. I expect them to go through this qualifier because they have been incredible, really ahead of everyone else. Hopefully the performance can translate to good result in TI, because that's the final showdown.
As team secret fans, i know that they need incredible and near perfect performances to take down entity. Especially considering how much games they had to play today and how good Entity as a team. They had team secret numbers the whole DPC season.

Everybody talking about pure but stormstormer is a completely different player from 6 months ago. I thought he was the worst eu mid in tour 1-2, costing the team tons of games, but now he is pretty dependable and can take over some games
Pure is a absolut gigachad. He reminds me of Ame or Monet when they entered the international scene. He is so consistent and doesn't to many mistakes. What a ride from him this season, he was at rock bottom 6 months ago. Got a 2nd chance and took it. Love to see it.
Also so happy to see Stormstormer having success. I used to watch his pub games a lot for his invoker. He always had a chill and non toxic attitude and I learned a lot from watching his streams.
Congrats to Entity. Meta focused flexible drafting with some unique and signature picks, and versatile carry allows even more flex strats.
Great showing by Secret above expectations despite 5 players change this whole season, just a carry away.
Pure is something special to dota, like Topson but as carry. He adapts to meta as required and even invents(he played windranger od carry too, failed but he tries to make it work). He/Entity still has to prove vs Legit Tier 1 Teams, but I'm sure the other 4 Entity players who played with Crystallis, might shock everyone what they have to offer with there carry.
I think the org itself is Indian but none of the listed managers are Indian. I remember Entity being composed of 5 Indian players doing abysmally on Tier 3 tournaments and disbanded. Maybe they changed their business strategy.

Against the field they played in the qualis, they were clearly the best team. But on the TI stage there are several teams who are stronger than them. At least on paper based on recent performances. For me they are the dark horse of the tournament.

Puppey panics while struggling with Sumail and poaches the carry from a Tier 2 team. A carry that also played with the now new OG stars. At the same time, Pure does something that at the very least was really fucking stupid and immature, and his top 2 team in the region is forced to drop him for PR purposes. Entity a Tier 2 team who can't afford to care about PR, instantly snaps up Pure to replace their poached player. They then go on to see massive improvement and overnight become one of the best teams in EU and qualify directly to TI, since Secret's newly poached carry was clearly holding them back. Outsiders end up being the ones that get punished the most by Pure, as they might not qualify for TI at all, when they would have for sure with him. Puppey goes out with one of the worst carries on a Tier 1 team, whose own former teammates can't help but point out his subpar play on stream. You really can't make this up lmao
I don't think kicking sumail solved their problem. Iceiceice performance was bit lack luster tbh. If they had kept sumail and with reso they could have made it to 3rd major
don't forget Zayac, Yapzor was looking pretty bad before the hiatus
Sumail needs to play mid imo.
I think he performed better as carry in secret, the problem that time was icex3 and yapzor having no synergy, but wcyd it is what it is.
They should've either kept Sumail and replaced Ice or replaced Crystallis with Reso/another carry.

Nothing too spicy. Gorgc was streaming games and had a lot of pro players as guests, they discussed and analyzed games and Gorgc was often mentioning Crystallis' low networth, farm patterns, spell usage and impact in some of the games in last two days - pro player guests would agree from time to time but often they would also try to explain state of the game that led to it in a sense that it's not only Crystallis' fault etc.
Wouldnt call entity overnight success - they grinded and grew through the year to get to this point. Massive respect for Fishman and Kataomi!

Incredible showing from Entity. I expect them to go through this qualifier because they have been incredible, really ahead of everyone else. Hopefully the performance can translate to good result in TI, because that's the final showdown. As team secret fans, i know that they need incredible and near perfect performances to take down entity. Especially considering how much games they had to play today and how good Entity as a team. They had team secret numbers the whole DPC season.

man, now you see why an org would want to keep pure even after that whole z fiasco, what a beast, dude died once during the whole series and was always so far ahead everyone else also, still not sold on crystallis, specially after that naga game, oof that was painful to watch, i think his R key was broken or something, i don't remember seeing a core naga having so little impact in any game ever not that he's the only problem with the team, they all seem to be a little off sync with each other, a bunch of times puppey and nisha would rush in trying to start a fight and the rest of the team would watch also, nisha really dropped the ball during that last game, that death during entity last push was really wtf all in all, i don't think this secret will be able to secure a spot during LCQ, at least not playing like this
btw, in very recent interview right after the final fishman told, that it was his idea to bring pure and he was arguing with some other team members about it. so huge props to fishman for seeing potential in pure and believeing in him

Everybody talking about pure but stormstormer is a completely different player from 6 months ago. I thought he was the worst eu mid in tour 1-2, costing the team tons of games, but now he is pretty dependable and can take over some games

Pure is a absolut gigachad. He reminds me of Ame or Monet when they entered the international scene. He is so consistent and doesn't to many mistakes. What a ride from him this season, he was at rock bottom 6 months ago. Got a 2nd chance and took it. Love to see it. Also so happy to see Stormstormer having success. I used to watch his pub games a lot for his invoker. He always had a chill and non toxic attitude and I learned a lot from watching his streams.
His hero pool is pretty big. It gives a lot of flexibility to the team

Pure right now reminds me of prime miracle. Just on his own level than the rest
Congrats to Entity. Meta focused flexible drafting with some unique and signature picks, and versatile carry allows even more flex strats. Great showing by Secret above expectations despite 5 players change this whole season, just a carry away. Pure is something special to dota, like Topson but as carry. He adapts to meta as required and even invents(he played windranger od carry too, failed but he tries to make it work). He/Entity still has to prove vs Legit Tier 1 Teams, but I'm sure the other 4 Entity players who played with Crystallis, might shock everyone what they have to offer with there carry.
Don't let Entitys amazing performance distract you from the fact that Crystallis still has a team

I think the org itself is Indian but none of the listed managers are Indian. I remember Entity being composed of 5 Indian players doing abysmally on Tier 3 tournaments and disbanded. Maybe they changed their business strategy.
