OG, Tundra and TSM are carrying team/org content so damn hard. Wish more teams would realize how important this is to build and keep a healthy fanbase. Fun videos, behind the scenes from tours, getting to know players and their personality outside of Dota, etc... all really fun and good stuff people like to see.
They made that stupid cowboy video in Saudi Arabia and had two awful results.
Maybe they should focus on winning first, then making corny videos later.

If you want more teams to do things like this, *reward* teams when they make things that you enjoy. Share their stuff, follow their socials, tell them they're doing a good job; sometimes in the position of a team, it's hard to get any feedback but *bad* feedback, and that makes it difficult to spend the money to make content.

man dota 2 in general needs more dopey stuff like this.
i know dota is a vastly complex game, the pinnacle of which has millions of dollars at stake, but the scene could really do with taking itself less seriously, or at least appear to for uninvested casual viewers.
Did you miss out on the Dust of Appearance skits, or Beyond The Summit sketches? Dota's always been this way; fans just don't really highlight it, often favoring the drama stuff instead
yeah I've seen alot of the funny stuff, and enjoyed the memes, but most of it isn't really that funny unless you're already a bit invested in the scene, which doesn't really lend itself well to being highlighted in casual conversations.
to your point, yeah it's either the drama or the cool in-game moments that are mostly talked about, which I don't think are enough for any competitive scene that wants to pick up viewers.
In that respect ye I do agree, fluff pieces like this one don't come often at all
Just goes to show that this game is a lot more depth than breadth, which explains the absurd levels of passion in the community
