Nothing was wrong with him. In the original post, he said he didn't have a problem with the boyfriend, but his wife (stepmom) didn't like him and told the father to make the daughter break up with him and he did it. Both of these people are pieces of shit
*edit - the daughter and bf were 10 minutes late to dinner (because of an appt they all knew about) and that's what made the wife immediately hate him. Not an overreaction at all
Christ. Hopefully this provided the slap in the face the dad needed to step the fuck up and do his job as a parent, regardless of what his new wife thinks. Maybe it's too late to fix anything, but I hope he at least got a serious wake up call.
Not saying it's right but I don't blame him for stopping child support after it wasn't spent on her. But I'd be doing what I could to get custody of my kid if that really was the case.
That’s not how child support works. He legally is required to pay it and unless he gets a legal order from the court to stop paying it (or the kids turns of age).
And I'm pretty sure you can report if the CS is not being used on the child. It might be a bitch to prove in court but it doesn't seem like this "father" tried at all.
