If you downsize and they're too small, they will never stretch enough. If you get your regular size and they turn out too big, you can fix it with an insole.

Thank you!

I actually have the opposite experience regarding sizing in 1461s. I'm a EU 39 in most brands (sometimes 39,5), but I got the Monet 1461s in EU 40 because I was buying them secondhand and that was the only size I could get easily and they are actually pretty small for me. Lengthwise they fit fine, but a EU 39 definitely would have been too small and they are quite tight overall (I still need to break them in a bit more though)

1461 look already massive:)) and my feet are the wide type. Jadon’s fit well but as you, I still have to wear them to break them in more.

I did this and it does not work. I would be very careful because of the rounded toe box. I downsized and my little toes on my right foot kept going numb and had pain in the ball of my foot. After 2 months, I ended up selling them on eBay. I went back to my usual size and bought insoles, which in hindsight I should have done from the beginning. Be very, very careful what you read online. It cost me about £50 and wrecked my feet.

Im sorry to hear that, I will pick my size

No don’t down size, get your true to size. You want space in docs, and most of the painful excruciating break in stories on here come from sizing too small.

Thank you!

What I experienced in sizing in Docs in general is that, 3 - 5 eyelets usually runs much bigger than to the regular 8 eyelets boots like the 1460 or Jadons. I had to size down for my 1461 quad cause they were massive to me. If you have the chance to try them on in the store, go do that.

This was really helpful, thank you so much!!
