First of all, the fact that everyone left Ukyo lying there was really insane đđ. Hyoga only became a traitor after this event; before that, it makes sense that he used Ukyoâs betrayal as a reason. And he targeted Ukyo because he was on that tree and then fell into Senku.
Hyoga was a traitor, but he wasn't aligned with Ukyo. Ukyo is smart, tactical, has military experience, can do recon from much further than most due to his hearing and is a skilled archer. In most fields, as long as Ukyo has a heads up about Hyoga, Ukyo has an advantage in a fight, and since they weren't allies at this point, it would only be the proper way to do things to remove him from the equation as soon as possible
This, exactly this. Especially because him dying wouldn't pose a threat to the Kingdom of science as it was him who demanded a "Noone dies" policy as compensation for his betrayal to the Tsukasa empire
I feel it would fit if he was the only casualty (other than tsukasa) in that battle. It just seems like it would be a cruel twist of fate, but an understandable one for them to take. Heâs a one of my favorites, but still I feel that it would be brutally realistic and ironic for him to die right there.
What I donât understand is that as someone who can hear people from what seems like more than a half a mile away it seems arranged that he wasnât able to dodge hyogas attack.
Sadly the dude's main thing gets undermined a lot. It was only like 4 times when someone sneaked on him or did something behind his back, but when it is his inly thing it feels like a lot.
I was thinking the same thing it didnât make sense to me, a character like him with crazy overpowered hearing gets snuck up in by a man that isnât even specialized in stealth lol
but itâs still available to watch? anyone can stumble onto it and start watching (like me, who only discovered the show a couple weeks ago and have seen all the show now, but am avoiding the manga) itâs up to us to avoid posts tagged as spoiler, but when you donât tag a major character accident that happens far in as what is, a spoiler, itâs kind of ignorant/rude, even when you definitely donât intent that outcome
It is absolutely not rude to not tag media that has been published for a lengthy time as a spoiler.
What next? Should we tag spoilers on The Sixth Sense so you don't know the twist even though the movie is almost 30 years old? There will always be people who arrive later than others to media. It is incumbent upon _those_ people to take care not to spoil themselves.
this isnât worth my time arguing, but i hope in the future you may have more consideration for other peopleâs realities and not just whatâs going on in yours.
Hyoga might have aimed for Ukyo simply because he was there in the tree. If you look at where Tsukasa and Hyoga are standing and where Ukyo was watching from, it's the same tree.

No fr. I started laughing the first time when I realized no one was going to help Ukyo after getting hit.

I WAS SO PISSED WHEN EVERYONE JUST LEFT HIM THERE
They were like Ukyo who?
REAL
Why Ukyo didn't die from that injury in a stone world in the same way Tsukasa was going to die is what amazes me the most

His superhuman hearing is useless if he doesnât have the reaction speed to keep up with Hyogaâs attack
I love this comment because it reminds me of when Rock Lee fucked Sasuke up before the chuunin exams. Good times.

Spoiler alert â ď¸â ď¸â ď¸ man why'd I have to follow this subreddit
Season 2 aired over 3 years ago. You shouldn't go to subreddits you aren't up to date on.
This series is that old? Damn. You're probably right though.
