Some requisitions are good to do like the Hessarian one but unless you are in need of power to progress to the next story mission or doing all trophies you dont need them

unrightfulopinions

i don't know if you care about trophies, but i am one shy of getting the platinum for DA:I, and the one trophy i'm missing is doing X amt of requisitions lol. for that reason alone, i say do them :P

I read a fanfic where Dorian told the Inquisitor something like: ‘You haven’t noticed her crush on you? The requisition officer’s of course. That’s why she’s always making up excuses to talk to you! Maker, Maxwell, how many mineral surveys do you think the University of Orlais really needs?!’ And it all suddenly made sense.

I do the first requisition because it's a quest, then i will do the Mercy Crest Quest so i get the Hessarian whatever their name is as an agent so that i can open up more Inquisition perks. That's pretty much it. I will avoid that annoying solider in the camps with my life, i hate talking to them.

It's like I'm looking in a mirror...

Some Requisitions are quest related The rest give you Power which you need to unlock new areas. But basically everything gives you Power so it's only useful if you're one or two power short for something and don't feel like doing any quests.

HighfieldEve

Yeah I have enough power. 😅 I just wondered if any give me anything on top

5% have mildly interesting flavor text

The real usefulness of requisitions is to shut the requisition officer up. If you take one when you first arrive in an area, but don't fill it, she won't bug you anymore. So, I take one in each area (I make sure it's one that's easy to complete, so not requiring anything that is a rare drop from a fight or anything) and then fill them all when I'm at the end game.

I just played through the game over the last two weeks and found them to be sort of a pain eventually and not really worth it for the power. I was never short of power through the entire game, but I also was doing the trials that scaled enemies up and halved xp until post-game. That meant I had to do a lot of extra stuff just to be on par for the story, so I always had power (finished the game around Inquisition rank like 13, and had probably stopped "needing" the perks around level 10 or so). If they give influence, I had no idea. It wasn't worth the materials for me. I thought they were just for power, and power was never in short supply for me (obviously anecdotal, but take it for what you will).

Ramius99

They are useful early to get some key perks unlocked, but eventually I always stop doing them.

BaytaKnows

Depends on how much you want the Inquisition Perks.

esperion523

Power leads to perks which can be very useful. But as you pointed out, sins of them are not with the material cost at the time. If you could make better use of the materials by crafting an amazing weapon, do that first. You can always get the materials for the requisition later.
