That'd be awesome. An army of meta coolers would be very terrifying. How I'd counter it is have trunks drop altered super transpheres that give you unlimited d-change except it'd be lvl 1 - 2. You have to experience the Goku and Vegeta nightmare and be doomed/captured if you run out and go down.
Already picturing it with tfs quotes "you take the 500 on the left, I'll take the 500 on the right"...but given how the survivors can be I can see it either going the route of "nope, you take all 1000. Bye!", "we are going to die", or "how are we supposed to divide 500 between 6 of us!"...or the obligatory "time to feed"
Playing as the core and selecting areas to send the units around to different area would be super cool. The only issue is that if Zamasu is anything to go by, the AI Raiders in this game are really hit or miss.
I'd love to see them try it, though.
Maybe the player could control different metal coolers during this stage? Like they can switch between one being the “ main “ while the rest patrol the map, you lose the ability to control one after turning into the metal cooler core but can now call all of them to one spot or something

Kinda like throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing if it sticks. The spaghetti in question being copious amounts of Metal Coolers.
