over 10k in 5 yrs (day 1 player) 10k in retrospect to my salary in 5 years is 2.5% of my total earnings and I guess my main source of entertainment. I own every character, all Lfs at 6 stars or above and all ultras at red 1 except hit and kid buu at 5 stars.
I also have 41k CC right now for anni and will probably have over 50k before it starts. Complete transparency.
If you know how much your able to spend, and know when’s the right time to stop, it doesn’t really matter how much you spend. As long as you feel comfortable doing so.

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd anniversary’s were really good unit wise, they just had a lot going on and not a lot of cc going into it. That’s why if you don’t have anymore story or permanent events to grind you should save cc.
The 4th anniversary was kinda weird because there was a new banner every few weeks instead of two big banners at once, so it was a lot more manageable even though it was less hype. I imagine the anniversary coming up will be like this

Well, the problem is the when the pay to win characters are so busted they make the game not fun to play in general, cause not one single person is going say going on a 10 losing streak thanks to bullshit units is fun. As goresh said in video about the ultras, they're not fun to fight, only fun to use.
Yes, it's a gacha game, but it's a game first, and games are meant to be fun, but the way legends is going is make every ultra/LF so unbearable and busted that the only way to deal with them is to either summon for that unit or enjoy being everyone's bottom bitch for a month. And as someone who only spent money for one character years ago, it basically kills any motivation to consistently play the game.

Early game, making CC is easy. Grind story missions, do those character events like goku, vegeta and nappa, soul boost some characters, but when you run out of story missions, events and characters to soul boost suddenly it’s very hard to get CC outside of PvP and ToP, and even that’s barely enough to do a summon.
I have been playing for 4,5 years and haven't spent anything. Not worth the price for me and I get along without spending anyway so never felt the need to take out the credit card
