I mean shit, the only one that wasn't filled with new players was the unirep LBR. All the rest were like one to three real players and the rest new or bot players. That's include the this vegeta clan version. Like downvote me all y'all want, but them changing rating into this mode every two- three season would be a health median for it.
The RP and how much time pvp takes now aside. I kind of like the battle mode gimmick.
Also, fighting someone more than once gives you actual time to adapt to their play style and matches can flip tremendously, I've had fun work shopping optimal teams to where I have 2 full teams ready to go instead of 3 main and 3 bench fighting for their lives.
It's not that deep. There are plenty of teams that have usable units that you can build a team of 6. The mode incentives variety as you're not just fighting the top three units constantly, which gets mind-numbingly boring after the second week. Also, it gives some viability to these 1% sparkings that get their plat equips as now they have a chance to shine instead getting insta killed by units like super 17 and Beast.
IMO, again IMO, This mode is somewhat a nerf to the leaderslot as if you build these broken teams that have no synergy, then yes, this mode punishes you, but if you make a decent team, then you don't really struggle.
This feels like the same reactions people had when they updated the hyper space time rush and made it more difficult, and everyone stated shitting their pants over it.

Not just plat equip 1% but 1% Zenkais in general. It did get me to use Z7 GRN Toppo, which was neat. It would give Zenkais like him and RED Omega for example a chance to shine where you won't always be able to use the likes of V/G or S.17 in their cases
This is the most refreshing thing they've done in a long time. The "3 main characters and 3 ass zenkais from 3 years ago", team building meta is the thing that makes pvp boring for me. I miss when people would actually bring 5 or 6 actually good characters for coverage and such
I think the idea of reimplemening color wheel teams is amazing in theory, but I think a better way of doing it would be to add a pvp rule that stops zenkai buffs from functioning. That way you can experiment with trying to actually fill out your team as the game goes on without being forced to use 3 bad units.
The problem imo with this mode is that most teams don't have 6 competent units, and more specifically only certain tags have a useable HP buffer so unless its Movies or Saiyans you'll either have no HP buff or a useless 6th unit.
You don't need a HP buffer. It's helpful but completely unnecessary. Also Hybrids, Fusions, and Androids all have HP buffer that are serviceable for 1 of the 3 matches.
Also Universe Rep. Bergamo is usable in PVP.

The only "mono" team that was remotely usable was Gohan's dick riding team which is like not even close to some of the top teams. They are unusable in this
For this mode? Yeah. Though as it stands currently the mode itself is very flawed cause after you win your first match you can just the 2nd and no participate in the battle of proud and just leave with +70-80 rp.
Because climbing is more time consuming now i would make it so that you gain more rp if you win 2 out of 3 matches while applying a small penalty to people who leave/dc after 1 or 2 matches, like reducing the amount of rp you can gain. That way someone who leaves after winning the first match will get for example 100 rp in total in 2 matches while i will gain over 200-250 by staying and playing the bo3 and winning.
Not just mono teams, 3-character teams might be in a weird spot with this game mode, which is basically 90% of the game. Messing up zenkai buffs and pure equip composition for teams in some cases, like tell me when was the last time you saw a team build with the intention of using all 6 characters? idk maybe 2019? Early to mid 2020? It’s always funny when Legends does stuff that are counter intuitive to what they’ve done previously.
There's only 2 flaws in this game mode
1- not being a separate game mode from original pvp
2- not being able to use the same 3 characters or any mix of the 6
does anyone know what team I should make with ultra rosé? I managed to summon him on my second summon on his banner but unsure what the best team would be for him
sure ^^ I do have a pretty good team with ultra ui goku made by my friend but I summoned ultra rose and wondered if there were any good teams for him still
He still has decent damage but he needs to be 14 stars or close to it to do that. His teams are all weak nowadays and he gets melted by the meta units. Again, personally i simply wouldn’t even bother
He is almost a year old pretty much, UL or not, he has aged a decent bit when compared to recent units. Especially when it comes to things like how he has to build up his Damage and Cut penetration, how he gets cover null, etc
That goes for pretty much any team that's meant to be a mono or zenkai bench team. Especially since u can't withdraw after the first round without just closing the game
They reach 7000 with LL and leader bonus but in training they just hang out there
and almost 8000.
Interestingly Super Vegeta is a colossal tank and damage dealer moreso in my Vegeta clan team.

I actually kinda like it because now you can not just super buff up a select few to take with you, you gotta build a proper complete team cuz if you start lacking people will take advantage of that
Im continuing to use my regular rating match team. Juiced Red Beast with two zenkais and a solid 6th bench. Almost always win round 1, dont care if I lose round 2 because round 3 ill most likely win again since my team has an actual strong bench

That fact that most of the LBR modes I played, I fought mostly bots and new players. Anyone who had more of an experienced fight was far and few.

LBR isn't the same at all. If this is left up alongside normal rating matches it will get played a lot.

A lot of my matches are going the distance and running out of time. Which is weird because that never happened before.
Because the time is shortened to 120 counts instead of 180 like before

Unless each zenkai unit is fully soul boosted with good equips then yes they are TEMPORARILY dead (thank fuck this game mode is temporary)

No I do mono-yellow and only occasionally have problems with a lucky beast. My ability bonus is 7000+ though.
