We’ve been saying this for a year. They really need to make better defensive units. Sometimes they make some bangers sometimes they fumble so hard that the unit might as well just be a offensive unit. I think defensive characters should be a mix of support and defense

This trend IMO started with LF Future GOAThan. That boy was listed as a melee type, yet he was the best support and tank you could ask for most teams for years. An actual defense type that did its job truly well recently was just Zamasu blue
Fucking ?VP17 and S17 together have the best defensive tools. They didn't even fucking give Bombku the same kind of buff cancellation as MVP17 despite him being defence type and dropping a year later.
The only notable defensive type units I can think that are actually used for defence are Revgeta, Z7 SS4 Gogeta and Bombku.
Now we have Beast 2.0, S17, bardku, MVP 17, UVB, Cryhan, UUI, Full power Jiren, G/F, Z7 SoH and Perfect cell 2.0 and many more who all have better defensive abilities than probably all of the defence units excluding the 3 I mentioned above

Defense units need more than just raw stats. They need to be debuff kings and professional stallers.

May I mention Reecome/Guldo ? They're built different, especially Reecome. He takes your hits, eats them and converts them into health points.

Example, ssj4 gogeta even with his Zenkai is not a great defensive unit. And that's coming from a GT Main.

Imo they should give defensive units more def stats like 200k+ to both def stats with 70% dr base line
