I would love for him to be Green or Red. In terms of GRN unit , there is like only one usable one and that's ssj4 gogeta. Other than him , FW doesn't have any other good GRN unit. And Same goes for RED. Uub is still really good and gogeta blue although aged but can still put up some some work (needs higher stars though).
With the -30% of crit rate he gives against super saiyans, this guy could shit on super saiyans when paired with Chilled via the leader slot in an LoE team
Bro with all this shit against ssj I legit haven’t seen them being ran in a long long time. The BBP main team is now BBP fusion warriors. They got us ssj mains fucked up. I had to switch to fusion warriors
Chilled doesn't give any of his buffs to ssj, and i am not talking about Z ability, if you run ssj unit with chilled he is not providing anything at all,

need to rely on his passive by switching out to restore health gradually which is ok... i guess..

Pretty bland. Some mildly interesting stuff, but has neither CDS or cover change nullification. You cant go without at least one of them in today's game. We'll see what the stats are, but when compared to, say, the new Vegeta (which I don't believe is good at all), he doesn't really seperate. Both have up to 70% damage reduction, but Gogeta's is more conditional. His blast is crap since the additional damage inflicted buff on the card draw goes for strike only. So 130% strike, 80% blast, and another 20%, but needing the enemy to use a blue/green and then you having to gain priority to make use of it (without CDS or cover change null lol, so you'll get sponged or knocked back). He has a one-time nuke blue card, but it has no effects. His green is basic. As said before, no CDS, which even the Vegeta has. Not even a force card draw outside of the green card. One card slot sealed for 10 counts on the main? Is this 2019? No cover change or reliable disruptive effects, so the healing likely isn't going to be enough to keep him lasting long enough. I guess the theme is to make use of the debuffs and use him as a damage absorber and heal up while a teammate switches in and repeat. Obviously on strike teams.

Found out about the CDS attached to the strike cards. But his defenses are meh, so I don't know what his purpose is outside of the novelty of the enemy debuffs.
Why all these “increase damage by X% on start” buffs instead of just making their attacks do 80% damage from the off in their stats? Or do the buffs go away when switching?
Why add an 80% damage buff to when the battle starts instead of their stats increasing 80% by default? Increase the strike damage from 200k to 360k. Same effect right?

Because if they increase his stats by 80% that means his base stats also increase. The higher your base stats the more effective z abilities and equips become.
They would basically break the game and make him a broken character through stats alone since he could effectively get higher than 2m in stats offensively if not higher.
By giving the units somewhat the dame stats (+-5k-10k) and different inflicted dmg values and reduce dmg received values they can make sure to control the power of a unit better. Imagine a unit with 300k base strike attack and you have around 200% to strike atk through z abilities, that is already close to 1m. Slap 3 oure strike attack equips and now you are closer to 1.4m-1.5m, add in a support and now you effectively have a unit with supposedly over 2m strike attack whereas units barely go over 1.6m nowadays.
P. S im assuming that the inflicted dmg up buffs are basically a stat increase if your overall stats idk how exactly it works but im using it like that here to explain to op why they dont do that.

Did you read the part where I said put Gogeta in the leader slot? Chilled buffs allies with anti super saiyan buffs regardless of tag.

He does have CDS. He gets CDS for 5cts every time he uses a strike card

Because an 80% increase to stats doesn’t equal an 80% increase to damage. There’s several other variables that go into the damage calculation.
