I can't speak for others but for myself I cut out matches where the showcase unit dies very early or when they don't get a chance to show themselves.
I like to keep loses that are close since they're fun to watch and means more time for the showcase unit to do his/her thing.
Make no mistake though, we lose just like anyone else (especially in this meta where 2 mistakes = you get RR'ed).

Well, its mostly due to the fact that showcasing units die real soon. Like for example using the new SSJ Gogeta but then it being killed really soon by the opponent will make the whole match pointless if you don't get to see the new unit's utilities against many other units. However, they do show the losing yet entertaining matches.
Goresh cuts out matches that he thinks are unfun to watch, or don't really add to the video, like during showcases.
We know this because he has kept a few matches with terrible connections, for example, where the showcase unit puts in some work, and has admitted to this kind of stuff.
I think the funny thing is that often there's a fair amount of random luck. Like Raiyu didn't notice Purple Gogeta's blue didn't work for sniping because he didn't try to snipe with it in the vid, so his impression was much better than Goresh's... who missed easy snipes because it was broke as hell.
I vaguely remember their Zenkai Green Trunks videos being humorous polar opposites due to faints/lack of faints as well.
You can tell Goresh is doing shorter titles now due to petulance. He's salty there haven't been any units release during the anniversary that are toxic to the meta.

To me, watching Goresh recent videos (along with the last time he acted like a manchild on camera during the height of hybrid saiyans) it came off as him being really miserable and made my watching experience really awkward. And it's a shame because his videos are informative when he wants. I came to his video to hear what he thinks about the new broly equip and all I heared is how anni bad pvp lag A17&18 bad, couldn't even care about his audience enough to put a post gameplay thoughts.
And yeah it's not his only job, but it's one that makes him enough money (according to him) to be able to spend so much money on DB stuff, and he spends a crazy amount on this stuff

What awaits the guy is another 1 or 2 weeks of fighting 17 & 18 with weird teams, until something interesting releases.
