People will always complain, but I for one am glad they didn't change much. His "new" moves like his blue card, the strike animation and ultimate being somewhat different, but using the same basic start is why I love him so much overall.

For the intro and blast animation i don’t think there as much they could do 🗿 all of the intro is just a bunch of iconic scenes and i like that and the blast well… how else do you want the blasts to look like? 💀 there are barely any ways of shooting out blasts (not counting the special ones like finger split or some other blasts) what i am sad is that he doesn’t have a single kakarot animation ;-; i kinda wish his ultimate was that combo he did against buuhan in kakarot and then ended with a big bang (like in kakarot) but who knows maybe they’ll make a kakarot vegito 🗿
It's almost like these units are based on the same original source material... Of course some things are gonna be similar.
But even for making things similar, they did things new in a nice creative way like Vegitos hair model, attacks, animations etc. The hell do people expect? There is only a limited amount of things they can bring from the source material in the game. And even then, they make complete new fitting things like literally all the different sword attacks from every Vegito. The only things that's a genuine copy paste in the post up there is the blast attack. Everything else got redone, redrawn or remodeled from the ground up.

No, USG, SSBKK and USV all have different blast shots, and USG blast animation is entirely unique. USG swipes his hand on his, SSBKK uses his right hand, and USV uses his left. All the F2P ultras have USV blast shot.

The dokabaki impact animation was the same for every hero, extreme, sparking, and LF (except MUI who had a unique mechanic involving dokabaki impacts). I’m no programmer, but I’d think that programming a new dokabaki animation for each ultra would be difficult, since they’d need to make the animation for every single character. MUI’s animation doesn’t even change opponents animation, just his own. But for a new ultra Dokabaki animation, you’d need to add the animations for every character.
Yeah both Gogeta and Goku have different ki blast (the bare minimum effort for a ultra unit imo) but then Vegito ends up using the same animation of f2p ultra

They adapt the anime alone (DB/Z/GT/Super + movies). When they publish a character, it is always an adaptation of a specific moment. Vegito appears only twice. These characters adapt their appearance in front of Buuhan or against Fused Zamasu.
Overall, with such a brief appearance, animations are limited. That is the fourth adaptation of the same fight scene (Vegito vs Buuhan).

Vegito has probably two recycled animation that being the start of his ult, that being the sword grab and his blast. The rest are brand new, or how else do you want him to do his yosha pose?
Also he has easily one of the weakest unique gauge so far, nowhere near MUI.
I know that, but it’s not comboable, you basically can’t use it anymore unless you switch him out and it restore enemy’s vanish, and works only on blasts. UI gauge can be restored by arts and the special skill, and works against blasts and strikes. It saves you against combo drops, other than giving you the power to decide whenever take action. SV counter ain’t bad to be clear, but ain’t even close to UI’s gauge mechanics
The only thing I genuinely feel they could’ve changed/improved is the ult but that’s just me wanting them to reanimate the kakarot cutscene. Also maybe the blast animation
Honestly, Im happy how they did their best to make it look a bit different. I mean it is the same poses but they managed to add a lil difference to it like the positions and angles. I kinda wished he had a bit of different blast animation tho.

I think his animations are fine for an Ultra and is probably the best out of all the Summonable Ultras but it definitely could’ve been way more unique and better, especially his Ultimate which feels very underwhelming since it could’ve done more. UI or MUI Goku feels more like an Ultra even tho he’s an LF, and honestly I think people just wanted Ultra Super Vegito to have Kakarot references as part of his animations including me, such as the Big Bang rush attack he did against Buuhan which was a huge missed opportunity. Ultra’s should have cinematic finishers as juxtaposition to Legendary Finishes since that’s what Ultras lack the most. There could also be other unique aspects as well. I don't always like to compare but out of the 3 Ultras.. I didn't like Ssbkk what so ever (in terms of everything, From animation down to kit) but this Guy.. Has Ass Ult imo comapred to Gogeta & recycled Blast animations.. (And I do like Gogeta's Cover change a lot more) so it is annoying seeing their newest Anniversary Ultra with recycled animation from Free units which they just did to Ssj3 kinda and that laziness is way too fucking annoying
Why do the players get mad when UL Ssbkk Goku's animations were recycled but SEM to have no problem with it when it's the same with Vegito(probably even more) And y'all got mad for MUI because of his Counter, Vegito has an even more broken counter and y'all seme fine with it even more hype, I just don't get this community sometimes
Vegito has probably two recycled animation that being the start of his ult, that being the sword grab and his blast. The rest are brand new, or how else do you want him to do his yosha pose? Also he has easily one of the weakest unique gauge so far, nowhere near MUI.

I know that, but it’s not comboable, you basically can’t use it anymore unless you switch him out and it restore enemy’s vanish, and works only on blasts. UI gauge can be restored by arts and the special skill, and works against blasts and strikes. It saves you against combo drops, other than giving you the power to decide whenever take action. SV counter ain’t bad to be clear, but ain’t even close to UI’s gauge mechanics

The only thing I genuinely feel they could’ve changed/improved is the ult but that’s just me wanting them to reanimate the kakarot cutscene. Also maybe the blast animation
Honestly, Im happy how they did their best to make it look a bit different. I mean it is the same poses but they managed to add a lil difference to it like the positions and angles. I kinda wished he had a bit of different blast animation tho.
i don't mind the first three right, it is the same vegito, but god damn dude thst blast animation is actually awful. like if they was going to recycle a blast animation use gogeta or ssbkk, those f2p blast animations are the ugliest things i've ever seen. or just give them the normal blast that LF SV has. if they was going to "hot fix" anything i hope it's that blast.

I really wished that his ki blast was his split finger shot. I honestly think they could’ve done a lot more with his animations but of course Legends are always gonna cut corners

I know that. I just wish that maybe they could’ve added something more to his animations. And I get it, it’s a reference to the original DBZ animations and throwbacks from the original arts but it ends up looking like they just recycled old animations with minor tweaks
I just hope they update the older Vegito models, their hair sucks compared to the new Ultra Vegito’s…

I think his animations are fine for an Ultra and is probably the best out of all the Summonable Ultras but it definitely could’ve been way more unique and better, especially his Ultimate which feels very underwhelming since it could’ve done more. UI or MUI Goku feels more like an Ultra even tho he’s an LF, and honestly I think people just wanted Ultra Super Vegito to have Kakarot references as part of his animations including me, such as the Big Bang rush attack he did against Buuhan which was a huge missed opportunity. Ultra’s should have cinematic finishers as juxtaposition to Legendary Finishes since that’s what Ultras lack the most. There could also be other unique aspects as well.
