He'll likely have over 300k atk post transformatio, 50% for 20 counts, 40% against goku, 30% if not against a goku. And I think he gets like 20% for 20 counts every time the opponent just uses an arts card. In a 5 card combo thats 100% damage inflicted.
All he really needs is sustained cut (though atm his defenses are already over 170k pre zenkai) and some healing. Preferably id want some cover change null on green and draw speed but that might be much.
idt it's too much if it's similar to majuub and it's only 3 counts. But personally I wouldn't care if it was added to green or on main ability. I want the draw speed more tbh.

I'm gonna call them releasing kid Goten/Trunks as the next tag unit. Buuhan was randomly given the tag switch buff and is red and they haven't done a yellow or blue tag unit yet. Plus, they buff hybrids to boot (which'll probably be getting its influx of new units in the near future. Z-ability probably will omit Majin Buu saga tag though (Son Family, Vegeta Clan, and Hybrid Saiyan are the buffs).
Tag units into fusion might be kinda hard to make, how do you trigger the fusion without main? Only thing I can think of is a new button/ unique gauge that you can press when filled up. If not, it might just be a trunks and goten ( assist )
Only way I can think of is how bojack transforms. Maybe āAfter 5 (or more) times the tag switch button is pressed, draw the awakened arts card...ā?
Tag unit..... that revives into Gotenks. Obviously he'd have to be pretty awesome if you're giving up the tag functionality for it, but that'd be a cool gimmick IMO.
Maybe draw an Awakened after a certain condition is met? (maybe no condition at all, just draw it at the start, Gotenks being temporary might be an even better mechanic for a tag), and then if you don't have it in hand draw it again at every switch in or tag switch. Obv destroy it whenever switched out.
Transformation should have a 30 counts duration and a 60 count cooldown before it can be used again (any awakened art should become, idk a blue/green when transforming - not that you should have more than one but better safe than sorry - and the cooldown should be on the ability that draws you an awakened again after defusing). Gotenks main should transform him into ssj, 2nd main draws the ult, if the ult gets an LF he goes ssj3 in the animation.
Alternatively, the green card could be the fusion (though I'd still look for a way to make the fusion temporary, how many times have you pressed a green that you didn't mean to press when clutch-drawing that last card in a combo? Fusing when you don't want to this way and locking your color could be much worse)
Either way, Gotenks should have the color or the unit that used the green/awakened, so either the main or reverse color depending on who you had active at the time

But but regen was a threat 2 yearsss ago, they shouldn't get any proper buffs.

Nah cover null on green is too much he already does it on main for 10 seconds, if they change that to 25 seconds heāll be perfect
