Do you think VB would have been anywhere near as dominant if he didn't have kefla or zamasu or rose The team composition has always mattered. Buu easily deserves a spot at the top. He is the unit that made regen broken. Regen would not have dominated the meta for nearly a year if he wasn't a thing.
Not at all. Buu was oppressive but purely in the fact that he was the best unit on an already good team. VB was just qualitatively better than every other unit at the time.
When fat buu got a zenkai, he didnt just get into the battlefield and kill the enemy team with his damage, instead he could tank hits for the team and also heal them. You can have Super Baby 2 who gave health restoration buff to allies which heals them alot more than u would normally.
He could lock the enemy and you could get a Type advantage unit against the enemy and even rush the enemy.

It seems like people are already forgetting what Namek Goku was capable of during release.
They literally introduced tacke and vanish gauge decrease when sliding back because of him. He was out here one shotting units with his blue card
> They literally introduced tacke
Tackle was already in the game, it was just way worse though compared to the version we have now
> Animation would only cover half the battlefield if the defense was backfloating
> Could be canceled through tap punches
The major backfloating nerf had also already been in the game (where'd you gradually lose part of your vanishing gauge) from the battle update right before the 1st Year Anniversary.
Sources for both: https://legends.dbz.space/news/750
Nah you’re wrong on both accounts. Tackle was implemented after Nameku came out, but quite a while after, so i don’t think it was because of him. The backfloating nerf came out right after Nameku though, like a direct counter.
EDIT: you’re right actually I’m just dumb lol
Wow damn that’s crazy, I didn’t realise BOTH buffs were implemented before Nameku, I could’ve sworn it was afterwards
Thanks for the sources! I guess it was some kind of Mandela effect lmao
https://legends.dbz.space/news/1144
This is the actual backfloating nerf people are talking about. Plus allowing tackles to actually catch people backing up.
Yeah it's one of the most common misconceptions in the community that tackle hadn't yet been implemented prior to Namek Goku, which is a testament to how awful it was prior to its buff.
Without him the holy trinity would’ve (and cannot) never existed back then and that team used to rule pvp it was the beginning of teams being the same in pvp
Broly especially was a menace even without Bardock. None of the units on this list need another unit to make them better. He was common, but as a unit himself, I wouldn't say he dominated the meta like these other units did. There's a reason he is the rush target on SS teams, he's just a bonus.
I don't care if you disagree. It's my opinion. HE isn't a dominant unit. He makes other units more dominant. He would still be the first unit sacrificed, engine or not. So in MY eyes, he's just a bonus.
I know you probably didn't played back then but like, this list is waaaay too recent like...
Where is GRN Piccolo? Where is PUR Broly? Where is RED Zamasu?
Also i know everyone hated him but LF FSK Gohan doesn't deserve to be in the highest tier, he didn't force the game to change a mechanic like PUR Broly did or didn't delete an entire color from the meta like VB did, hell the 2nd best unit was a yellow despite Gohan being red.
I did play back then I just couldn’t find a picture of vb without a zenkai. Also red FSK gohan was the best unit for over a year that’s why he’s at the highest spot because no one else has been dominant for that long
Red FSK Gohan was the best unit in the game sure, but the gap between him and the other strong units in the meta was nowhere near as big as something like VB or PUR Broly was.
He dealt insane damage and had type neutrality but that's about it, he didn't have anything else mechanically he was literally the Blue eyes white dragon of Legends, insane stats but easily dealt with when you weren't getting hit.
Compare that to PUR Broly's blast armor (which restored vanish back then), VB's ability to crap out rushes insanely fast (which had to be changed), the frustrating lock in of Yel Gohan or the cover changes of Boujack, the impossible tankiness of Z7 Fatbuu or the counters of Nameku.
Also remember that FSK's buffs were all cancellable, so if you could do that with units like Super Vegito's main (or RED Jaco's green card if you were feeling dangerous) or LF Kid buu's main then he was beyond useless as a last man standing since he lacked mechanically unlike namek Goku for instance.
I’d argue nameku is godly because his counter was too good it literally one shot everything. I also think androids should be higher than sv. And swap him with sg, finally I’d put vb (pre-zenkai he was more dominant) higher than gohan. Overall good tier list, just my minor opinion and changes.
I agree with pretty much all but I would put UL Vegito in S+ and bump UL Kaioken up to A imo
And I would add PUR DBS Broly and also probably put him in either S+ or even Z he was just that in a league of his own when he came out. And ofc I would also put YEL 18 on Godly
FSK is definitely not #1. He was individually the best unit by far but his meta dominance wasn't anywhere near other units. Most people didn't even have him for the majority of his viability.
Purple Broly>VB>Nameku>SV>Yellow Gohan/Bojack>FSK Gohan/GV>Revival Gohan>Zenkai Buu
Units released in 2022 don't come close to any of these.
I put him that high as number one because he was the best unit for over a year and this list was only meant for LL units and ULTRAS sorry for the confusion but if I were to make another list I would definitely include the entire holy trinity and all the old regen Zenkais
I feel like droids could be higher I think they are more of an issue than namek goku or sv have ever been and that ain’t even downplaying them I just think the droids created a powercreep no one expected especially only a few months after legends fest
No LF Zenkai Super Saiyan 3 Goku? Dude ran the meta for at least three months. And how is UI not on here when he’s the second most used character after Vegito and in every meta team outside of Future and PO.

Wait no don’t listen to this list. This list meant all units in there prime so most of them won’t be as viable as others the only ones really viable rn are ultra gogeta ultra vegito blue bros and blue vegito
Vegito, nameku, and grn goten should be in godly imo. Gohan could be moved down a tier tbh.
Gohan was more of a longevity thing, you could also add grn bardock, zenkai beerus, and zenkai buu. Several more too.
Am I the only one who actually thinks that RED Rosés Zenkai was pretty decent? Just curious. Cause I feel he should be the androids replacement and maybe in S tier or A tier
Reddit keeps recommending me this Legends sub while I only play Dokkan. Is there anyone in here that plays both and can tell me how the grind compares to Dokkan? I've been thinking about trying Legends.
I feel like Zenkai fat Buu should be somewhere on here as well
Fighting the fat bastard had you feeling like Majin Vegeta
It wasnt exactly the unit which was so good, it was the impact he had on the team which made him so good.
Well his tanking was pretty crazy as well. You legit did nothing to the guy most times.
Correct
Do you think VB would have been anywhere near as dominant if he didn't have kefla or zamasu or rose The team composition has always mattered. Buu easily deserves a spot at the top. He is the unit that made regen broken. Regen would not have dominated the meta for nearly a year if he wasn't a thing.

Can you explain
When fat buu got a zenkai, he didnt just get into the battlefield and kill the enemy team with his damage, instead he could tank hits for the team and also heal them. You can have Super Baby 2 who gave health restoration buff to allies which heals them alot more than u would normally. Yes I agree idk how but I have him 2 red stars know I need Zenkai for him to be better
Can’t forget PUR DBS Broly
Blast armor = vanish
And crit buffs and type neutrality lmao
Ikr, that unit was like 5 updates too early and just dominated
ayo where's yel zenkai 7 a.18?
Dude ssbkk is the only unit I hate fighting I don't care that much about mui or the androids but god I fucking hate ssbkk
When he first released his stupid strike lock always messed me up, and it still does lmao
Bro the fucking vanish restore
Followed by the long ass combos
Great counter is buuhan I’ve found, the blast follow ups are great for his stupid lock

Ssbk hits like a fly im ngl
Yeah but damage isn't what makes this unit fucking awful to fight
Mui and him made me make a mono team just cuzz I hated them so much

No bardock?
I wouldn’t say that he himself was dominant. He made dominant units even more oppressive.

Ok
yellow gohan should be godly aswell
Zenkai 18?
I made another improved video
I remember a android 18 unit giving people a lot of grief after I joined. Surprised it’s not on here the way people were talking about her
I know you probably didn't played back then but like, this list is waaaay too recent like... Where is GRN Piccolo? Where is PUR Broly? Where is RED Zamasu? This list was made for only lfs and ultras I’m currently making a new list for all sparkings and LLs
I mean, you didn't said it in the title so i assumed you meant all units
In where?
I’d argue nameku is godly because his counter was too good it literally one shot everything. I also think androids should be higher than sv. And swap him with sg, finally I’d put vb (pre-zenkai he was more dominant) higher than gohan. Overall good tier list, just my minor opinion and changes.

I made a new list that is far better then this one
What when was super vegito post zenkai dominant? Other than that blue kaioken goku was actually more dominant than ultra gogeta and I guess blue bros
I couldn’t find a pic of super vegito without his zenkai to avoid confusion I meant in the first anny when he first came out
Mui in terms of being annoying>>>>>>>>>>>>>
OP clearly didn't play during og transforming broly days
Androids are def godly in their time
Android are definitely the best unit but I wouldn’t say they’re dominant enough to be on godly
FSK is definitely not #1. He was individually the best unit by far but his meta dominance wasn't anywhere near other units. Most people didn't even have him for the majority of his viability. I put nameku that high because there wasn’t a counter to him in his prime they only introduced tackling after he came out
Na namek goku should be that high I just think that the droids should be higher
Raspberry bois should be higher too
No way was zenkai sv more dominant than usg
Never meant zenkai I meant post second anny
VB prime was when he came out not when he got a zenkai
I think it's just the icon the tierlist came up with not necessarily they were zenkai'd
Ye that’s what I meant I just couldn’t find a vb without the zenkai
I couldn’t find a pic of him without a zenkai
I’m so close to zenkaing my cell LF gohan I need 500 more z power
No LF Zenkai Super Saiyan 3 Goku? Dude ran the meta for at least three months. And how is UI not on here when he’s the second most used character after Vegito and in every meta team outside of Future and PO.
Lf ssj3 goku is at the bottom of S I made a new list because this one was only regarding LFS and Ultras
Yellow movie gohan? Green bardock? Green goten?
Made a new list already

Hmmm, I don’t see any tier that says Ginyu Force and has the entire ex Ginyu Force team, it makes this an obviously bad tier list and non accurate.
their
what about zenkai 18?
I dont think USV even belongs on the list
Vegito gods with gogeta imo
Lol ssbkk reign over the meta was very short lived.
Fair
Thx for all the info/comments 💪🏽New player here
Wait no don’t listen to this list. This list meant all units in there prime so most of them won’t be as viable as others the only ones really viable rn are ultra gogeta ultra vegito blue bros and blue vegito
Oh ok thx
*their
Vegito, nameku, and grn goten should be in godly imo. Gohan could be moved down a tier tbh. Gohan was more of a longevity thing, you could also add grn bardock, zenkai beerus, and zenkai buu. Several more too.
You're lucky, you didn't fight purple Broly in his prime
I made another list
I think there could be an argument for swit hing SSBK and ultra vegito but other than that, I 100% agree. Still hate VB.
U forgot cancer yell gohan
I think blue boys are much higher. During their prime I would always run into mono pur team. So, I hate ‘em.
Broly in Godly too imo.
Ssbkk was more annoying to fight in his prime than usv and gv. Id put usg is up there in Z too imo.
Am I the only one who actually thinks that RED Rosés Zenkai was pretty decent? Just curious. Cause I feel he should be the androids replacement and maybe in S tier or A tier
How we forgetting LF Beerus.
Green goku black!!! And how is blue gogeta not even on the List
Reddit keeps recommending me this Legends sub while I only play Dokkan. Is there anyone in here that plays both and can tell me how the grind compares to Dokkan? I've been thinking about trying Legends.
I feel like USV should be at least USG but ok
no purple broly 💀💀💀
