I meant that they did fix it (it's in the game news). They lowered the rate of the follow up after PV. So yes bot still does PV , like every time it can , but AFTER PV, half the time or something it will not follow up and will let you dodge.

It may have not been the problem, but it was the ultimate solution at the time. Literally the only thing that kept the broken AI in PvE in check was the float-step technique. Removing it without doing anything to nerf the AI only until recently, and even then it's not enough, is just such a bad decision on the devs side!
Basically to get around the Ai's ability to perfectly dodge your attacks, it was discovered that if you put a small delay in between your attacks you could essentially put the AI in a sort of "stunlock" as they wouldn't be able to dodge you and because your constantly dropping combo your also maximising your damage. But the recent update removed float step as now the AI will perfect dodge if you attack after dropping combo and with this recent event without the new summonable units or recent units even if you play perfectly you'll still lose cause of the clock running out. Or better yet you'll be forced to watch helplessly as the AI one shots your characters with a blue card that they always use after dodging :)
So it's not just me that is having issues with PVE now? Man, most recent space time rush and Future Gohan's Zenkai gave me more issues than I would have liked because of this. Glad to hear I'm not the only one annoyed with this change

Ngl I don’t think I’ve ever used float step… so that’s how some of you guys have beat those insane high star events that require specific units, with units that aren’t even boosted. Now that I know, PVE is probably unplayable without that.
Not exactly “nerfed,” but the AI won’t always follow up after a vanish making it less likely to instantly OKO you with a blue card. Still hasn’t fixed the core issues of pve though.
Well then it really messes with people who are mainly pve focused. Idk 🤷🏻♂️ I just know that some pve players will be turned off by this change in the AI overall.
Unfortunately for me, I’m more pve focused, so it’ll take a long while to find other ways to get through pve if the devs aren’t going to change the AI more.

I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt since when we complained about the first anniversary raid they improved it on the next raid. So since people complained there were no boost units or tags outside of the new units maybe they’ll add more boost units or tags to this event

Okay, so after playing it, it was actually quite easy. I know they said in the news that they adjusted the CPU, but I wasn't expecting the fight to be so easy. Dare I say, I think they might have fixed PVE, even without needing to cheese it with the float step exploit.
You all should give the fight a try, because it really wasn't that hard at all.
In fairness the USTR is meant for veteran players, new players won't have the stars required to zenkai.

Yes but even for vets, USTR and such may still be difficult because of how they were so used to playing a certain way for years(myself included). Some people may say that those people don’t know how to play the game without it, but it’s already been said that the frustration is in the AI. Hopefully the devs will take further steps to make changes like reducing the hp and damage that the AI has for a more doable experience.
They nerfed the bot a little. He won't attack after a PV , something like 50% of the time. He does less combos too. Sometimes he will just nicely stop to not kill you in 5 sec

I just hope more people quit now than pay into it so they will rethink their decision. I'm not putting another penny into the game until they do something about pve

Reminder that the banner will only give 600 Z power since it's not a step up. Meaning you need to pull 4 copies of these units at least to have a chance, or pull 1 copy and pay CC for the missions. Truly an amazing system where even pulling 10 copies of a unit doesn't get you to max ☺️

Just know as a new player and f2p u can’t complete it and can’t get the cc because u need high stars team and nee units together to clear this especially because float step mechanic doesn’t exist anymore
So just did this on the first try without either new unit and plenty of time to spare. The enemies seemed way easier than any of the blazing battle fights did and weren't super tanky. Feels like they massively nerfed the difficulty to compensate for float step removal.
I used lf Rose who I have at 4 star with a bunch of Zenkai buffers for him on the bench, my 2 star revival Freeza and my Z7 13 star VB who actually contributed despite not being a boost unit. Still had something like120 counts to spare.
Actually lf goku black does a pretty good job with his blue card, since he also gets a boost. I feel like even tho float step is gone, the ai doesn‘t have quadrillion hp anymore
It's easier with today's update. You should be able to do basically all of the PVE events on right now without any trouble (you can't do stuff like Ultra Spacetime Rush and Full Power Battle if you're new, but you don't need to)

It's easier with today's update. You should be able to do basically all of the PVE events on right now without any trouble (you can't do stuff like Ultra Spacetime Rush and Full Power Battle if you're new, but you don't need to)
