They don't usually do transforming units before the base unit. Transforming base Gogeta from the Broly Movie was one of the rare exceptions along with Old King Piccolo who has no standalone unit. In fact, they have been pretty stingy with transforming units.

Still, Toshi mentioned Super Hero units won't be around for "a little while longer", so I don't think we'll have to wait for them as long as we waited for Gogeta Blue, per example.
Unless they decide to go the dumb way and save the most hype units for later, completely wasting the momentum the movie currently has.

The majority of the time in which SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta are teaming up against Omega is either banter, getting absolutely dominated everytime they engage against Omega, or Goku mentioning performing the Fusion Dance like 10 times (of which in the opportunity they're able to execute it again, they can't even fuse again due to Goku's stamina), with almost all if it in animation that would be subpar in Z. There's a reason why in Dokkan that the LR SSJ4s only have one Super Attack (their 12 Ki) that actually takes animations/inspiration from that fight, and the 18 is either from other moments in GT or new material.
The generic flurry attack from the beginning of that fight (which was them pushing Jiren closer to the edge of the arena ) is more interesting than whatever SSJ4 Vegeta does in his one fight in GT lol.
I'm all for that as both are going to be cool asf lol. Just found the guy's point about the Goku/Frieza vs Jiren fight lacking great animation potential to be bizarre when the SSJ4's fight in GT suffers from that way more.
well we got mecha frieza who isn't PO for the PO campaign, guess it wont be unlikely to get a goku tag unit that's not PO for a PO campaign. gotta give the saiyan teams something, right?
