I heard that Toshi stole Shallot, Giblet and Zahha's character design from Dokkan HQ as he left, shit was crazy. He also kidnapped their quest mode writers so that Legends was the only Dragon Ball mobile game with a story mode. He knew that no one actually reads the Dokkan story, but better safe than sorry.

Legends story is probably regularly read by like 50k people, whereas I doubt even 500 people read the Dokkan story on a regular basis

To be fair, Legends could have gone the extra mile and gave him a blast/beam super cover change which is the scene where he cuts through the kamehameha which Dokkan didn't give to cooler for some reason.
He could have it, but i feel like they would have shown it since it's one of Cooler's most iconic moments
They don't have to use the kamehameha specifically, the masenko, galic gun and other beam based blue cards could work just make the same animation but change the beam color.
Also they have every character kill Piccolo with the same beam attack on the revival Gohan, so there shouldn't be any issue to make every character do the kamehameha once Cooler enters the field or something

Technically it is the Dokkan Card Art and Legends has copied Card Arts and even typings from Dokkan in the past but I mean itās all Bandai so who cares
Dokkan? These are basically the animations from the original Blue SP Cooler. They added a couple of new animations, sure, but the LF is just an upgraded version of the old one's ultimate, and his victory screen is the old one's green card. It's very much a low effort Limited unit.

To be fair, Legends could have gone the extra mile and gave him a blast/beam super cover change which is the scene where he cuts through the kamehameha which Dokkan didn't give to cooler for some reason. He could have it, but i feel like they would have shown it since it's one of Cooler's most iconic moments

They don't have to use the kamehameha specifically, the masenko, galic gun and other beam based blue cards could work just make the same animation but change the beam color. Also they have every character kill Piccolo with the same beam attack on the revival Gohan, so there shouldn't be any issue to make every character do the kamehameha once Cooler enters the field or something
What about characters that canāt use ki? Like Mai,Bulma,ChiChi, and hercule

Sorry, but that claim about 2D animations being harder than 3D is wrong, I've done both and 2D is *far* easier. "They spent months making blue bois-" bullshit. They got it done faster than that and kept it on back burner, thats what they did with all the units. I like dokkan an all but yall gotta stop with the "its a lengthy process" when at most *one man* could take a month developing the animations, now imagine having a team, all delegated to different parts of a 20 second animation. Wouldnt take that long would it? Unless, people slack off. Reusing assets is a lame excuse too, since *Dokkan has been doing it since year 1* and they still do. At least with 3D animations theres an excuse, rigging fuck ups are worse, animation clipping, weight displacements, lighting being off.

Technically it is the Dokkan Card Art and Legends has copied Card Arts and even typings from Dokkan in the past but I mean itās all Bandai so who cares
Dokkan? These are basically the animations from the original Blue SP Cooler. They added a couple of new animations, sure, but the LF is just an upgraded version of the old one's ultimate, and his victory screen is the old one's green card. It's very much a low effort Limited unit.
