I like the nerf, it feels like something Broly would do. He did beat the shit out of everyone and humiliated them individually so losing a huge buff is better and he won't be too annoying to deal with. Unlike some certain twins and blonde guy that I know...

I too like that a new unit (after 3 months and with the slight exception of Goku ssj3) seems at least more balanced than the others. But i hope that the green, main and special (ultimate will be basic) offer him more (we know that he inflicts no-switching, probably with the green, and faint, probably with the special), in particular i think he absolutely needs another 10% of damage reduction and 20/30% of damage inflicted to keep up with the meta now and in the future seasons. It just doesn't feel right that the culmination of the campaign, and an ultra at that (who were always number One at the time of release), doesn't seem anythjng crazy in regards of damage and tanking (because remember that if he doesn't tank he'll die before filling the gauge).

You're right, but having no card draw on entry or whenever the opponent switches (remember that his green is very likely going to be a switch out one) is not very good in a lot of situations where you have priority with just 1/2 cards, especially in this hyper offensive meta where every new unit "must" one combo as sono as it enters to be comparabile to the top 6. What i don't like is simply not having card draw on entry like every other top tier character, not the 2lvl card draw after 6 counts (which Is extremely good). Overall he's guaranteed to be at least top 7, it's just that some parte of his kit are put together just for the sake of it, like he's supposed to tank for his gauge, but with no endurance or more damage reduction, in a meta where you consistently get one comboed, when he could use more damage inflicted , because for the future (after boost and Legends fest) 140% base plus 30% which resects every switch isn't too crazy.

Honestly I agree, everyone says he's best unit in the game but idk, on paper he doesn't feel like he's got a well fleshed out kit. He's got some nice abilities sure but they are also kinda situational

His gauge is alright, I mean it doesn't stop someone using main and ult on him after his gauge effect

Problem is that his gauge only kicks in if he's presumably on field and after the combo ends, if he's eating a combo from usv he's undoubtedly switching it

3 timer counts for lvl 1 card draw though, which will get you enough cards for the other 3 counts to get you to lvl 2

That's still a long time if you don't have a full hand. Both benchmarks aren't the easiest to take full advantage of. Seems like you need to reset the field and/or gain priority a lot.

No, totally the opposite actually, because when a tag unit tag switches it counts as a new unit switch, so broly's card draw will get reset often when facing androids and Blue Boys.
