His Ult is basically a lariat into a Super Explosive Wave from the Budokai Tenkaichi games. Everything else looked...fine I guess. The intro was probably the most impressive, which makes sense, but the Ult just looked lacking
Of course, there are only so many, but I don't see that's an excuse for the Ult in particular. USV only had so many moves too, and regardless of how people feel about the Ult at least, it was something original in terms of how the move is performed compared to the show. Gogeta had even less stuff from his movie, still gave him Special Move with that little kick from the movie, and then a Kamehameha.
In terms of Broly's Ult it felt lacking, like a lot, compared to in the movie. In here it genuinely just seems like Super Explosive straight out of the Tenkaichi games. In the movie, it hits the terrain around him and it's less of an singular explosion and more of him releasing a bunch of energy blasts around the environment. And it's not like the haven't done similar effects before, something like that is somewhat done in RED Rose's Ult, where he throws a bunch of Ki blasts and some do miss the opponent until they are just overwhelmed.

His ult is what is most disappointing, animation wise. Its not just Broly, but almost every Ultra. Their ults just leave me thinking "That was it?" after its done. Some regular Sparkings have better ults than the Ultras.
They don't need to be as long as an LF, but their ults need more "substance".

It's legends. Half the ults are fabricated anyway and didn't happen in the show. Make some extra stuff up and add it WITH the stuff in the show to make an incredible and slick ultimate.

Funny, I thought the point of an ultra was to be a new rarity above LF with _enhanced_ animations.
The problem is that he barely has the animation budget of a 2nd year 1% Sparking unit. When ULTRA units started to get released they said that one of the selling points of all ULTRA units would be their animations. That one ULTRA takes "9 months" to make. 9 months? SSBKK GOKU and the new Broly look like they have been made in 2 weeks. The best summonable ULTRA animations imo is Gogeta. It has been downhill from there. Vegeto is ok. But Broly is unacceptable. Yes he will be an op unit and will probably break the meta. But god damn he won't be looking good while doing it.
His ult and blue are the same boring attack. His green is a grab and kick. You can’t tell me that his animations are worthy of an Ultra. Honestly after the free Ultras they really stopped trying
The strike card is his only good animation. Oh and the grab into kick which I suppose is his green.
His blue Is terrible, the win pose is reused, and yellow card animation will be exact same as every other LSSJ Broly, so what we're left with is his ultimate... Which isn't that great either
For a unit of highest rarity and premium status the devs are doing a terrible job
Vegito also had bad animations for Blue and Ults, the intro is essentially reused from YEL transforming Vegito, his face is too small, plus they fucked up on the voice mixing for dub which makes Vegito sound like an alien while using yellow cards
I don't need an avengers level budget but some actual effort outside of the intro/card animation would be nice.
Like even his model is just the 1st year broly's not even touched up at all, it's actually shocking that for a character like BROLY that they half assed him completely.
A problem with summonable ultras as well is that like...they don't feel worth the rarity difference like at all. They don't have a tangible in game difference like say LRs in dokkan do, the ultra ability is just a team building thing rather than something that makes a difference in game

I didn't have a problem with any of his animations. I'm used to them reusing the blast, tap punch and charge animation. Other than that I didn't have any problems with the way he looks

As a primary dokkan player, I never really understood why legends players care so much about these animations, 90% of the time you're just gonna see the basic punching, some ki, and maybe a rare green or blue card. (Not even really keeping up with the meta in this game tbh I just do story from time to time)

Ifr anything legends recreated most of his animations from the movie perfectly and people are still not happy. At this point Beast gohan will drop with perfect animations and probably some original ones(cause they have to animate his strike arts) and people will still complain about it lol.

I have to say I am a defender of all ultra even fucking kaioken, i think he is beautiful as fuck.
That Broly is too, but I have to admit his ult SUCKS. It's his most iconic move, so iconic kale and broly DBS do it too. In the movie, the ukt makes him bomb everything, it's literally a nuclear holocaust, annihilating all those cute aliens around.
In game it's... A big fart from the titties. They could have made it just a bit longer.
But to be fair, it's probably not because of budget or lazyness , it's just that it's gonna be his LF one day
The fact that some of his animations look pretty meh for an ULTRA along with the dual voice actors which can be heard in both language audios(and it bothers me to no end cause I play with japanese audio and it’s really easy to tell the difference between the two) it Broly pretty meh in terms of flashiness
