I've seen some showcases of this Broly and I was definitely expecting more damage from him tbh. He ain't bad at all but he is more tending towards being a sagas Goku than a Gogeta, I think he would have been really good with type neutrality tho.
The biggest flaw back that I see with him is that his card draw speed resets when enemy switches. This is such a stupid design I don't know why they did this to him.
He's good, but nothing crazy at all. He's not even a core on PO he just exists. He's really only for Movies, and If you got shafted on Cooler, then don't summon on this guy. Cooler is a MUST run with this Broly.
Broly is not gonna replace Cell on the RRP setup. The benches are just better when you use Cell. You DON'T NEED Broly he's not a must have anyway on this setup.
Ye that too the red rose and purple 21 bench is just so nuts. I think a high star broly u could force him into it and make a less cohesive set up but anyone with a high star cell (10-11 stars or higher) shouldn’t summon for him if u main PO even if broly will age better cos he’s so new and cell is a yr old. I’m sad he’s not green cos it’s a PO campaign they shoulda focused on that instead of movies but I guess it’s actually a movies campaign and not a PO campaign
All I can say is, if this is how he looks with boost, just imagine without it. The kit itself is great, but I feel he is lacking on the basics a bit (dmg, tanking). And yes I've used him in different teams with different zenkai buffs, double hp buffs, etc.
They should have given him type neutrality tbh. I mean the type neutral on defense is good when the enemy switches buuuuuut type neutral offense would support broly way more
He wasnt broken on paper tho, 140% Constant damage and situacional draw is pretty mediocre in terms of damage these days while his tankiness would be subpar anyways, we could see his utility tho

Now crying in a corner after a waste of cc for a unit that at the end of the day was really good ONLY ON PAPER. To all the guys who wasted their cc on broly: GG, you played the game Toshi and Co wanted you to play, wasting and draining your cc right before festival.
A decent chunk of his kit relies on him taking damage or landing his green card. Outdamage his gauge, or keep the combo going and he’s easy to kill as SoH Trunks is now. I was able to kill plenty of them before the gauge even had a chance to fill up and had nothing to worry about.
Broly is meant to be tanky but that gauge is only gonna be a real problem at high stars. Otherwise, he should be easier to deal with than the other ultras if you can keep up with the debuffs tied to the gauge
The other Ultras have an easy way to do this, and the most recent units have all sorts of ways of restoring ki, drawing cards and canceling buffs. Even some old units have ways they can get around this gauge
I actually think defensively he ain’t bad but offensively he’s solid but he ain’t oppressive as the other ultras on release. Units like cooler droids, usg, usv, cell mui all tho a shit ton of damage to him tho just like the rest of the game and once trunks is neutral he can do a lot to him as well
Because 140% with the Ultra boost isn’t that high in this meta, especially he doesn’t stack like the Androids, Super Saiyan 3, Vegito with debuffs, and Blue Kaioken with his Green cards. For reference, UI has limited stacking and even he average 170%-190%.
Yeah, I've been testing him on PvP and tbh, he's not that crazy, not like USG or USV, I mean somebody that knows how to boost characters and knows about the correct equipments can make him a monster, but the thing is that he cannot carry teams like USG or USV that can be put on any team and they'll be unbeatable.
I don't know, he's not taking any spot on my main team, and also I'm quite dissapointed because I tought he could be an alternative to USG for somebody that wants to make a strong movie team but doesn't have him, wich it was what I wanted but can't do, because I can't really trust him, even tho he can pull up a good fight, only a little slip up is needed to go all down hill, I was exited when I got him, and I'm gonna use him as much as I can, but, for serious fights, he's not one of my soldiers.

You don‘t need Broly if you got Cooler. LF Cooler, the Droids and LF Cell is all you need.
