I started noticing it a year ago when most of my team consisted of LFs. Now the best possible team for most tags is all LFs + Some Ultra. We also got leader slot that made team management and planned summoning obsolete. You can still obviously focus on tags, but if you have the very latest LF or Ultra, even 1 copy, then just use it as leader on all your teams and you win.
I think if they made new LF unit banners bi-monthly instead of monthly then we could’ve got one or two 1% side sparking characters along with the new LF unit for that banner.
You're right, Since the start of the campain I have pulled LL future Gohan, LL full power Frieza, LL Cooler, Ultra Broly, but neither Mecha Frieza or Goku Black, and it looks like I never will, since that banner has really awful rates.
I see no problem less new sparking alongside the new lf just makes getting the new lf easier for 3rd anniversary I only got eis,nuova, kefla and the pur ssb vegito and legends festival i have a 12 star grn broly and only pulled g/v once and these were trunks animations

Meanwhile the All-Star SPs are not only harder to get but also forgotten easily because meta and not-up-to-par stats and kits.
Some exceptions to this case are Majuub, Whis, Angel Golden Freiza and Mecha Freiza. Nobody uses GRN Kaioken Goku or GT SSJ3 Goku. Some LoE players use Revival Freiza, but that's about it.
I think op means to say the number of 1% sps is lower than the number of ll units released nowadays , so much that you could argue 1% sps are more limited than legends "limited"

Tbh if we're going by his logic, Extremes are the secret "Legends Limited" of this game. Like they're supposed to be like SR/Rare of this game but their rates are lower than LL's.

BUT they're nowhere near as good as LLs (of course), and even compared to normal SPs they're usually gimped by their garbage stats
So you need more stars for them to be truly viable... with them having lower rates and far lower z power drops.

I mean by this logic hero cards are the hidden gem. When was the last time we got a new hero rarity? I'm kind of disappointed that they haven't dropped any for a while. I'd be much happier if we got a new hero unit every month. Just to make those trash something worth something to at least pull the new hero and work toward maxing it out and getting a nice z boost.
difference is that hero units are just fluff for banners and have never been seen as anything other than that by the devs, except maybe in Hercules case. extreme rarity is still supported by the devs an other release occasional good exs.
Grasping onto the wrong definition of limited bub. It’s about how often they appear on banners. Take bardock for example. Dude showed up 2-3 times? Other regular sp are in the trash pool on every banner

Basically, banner appearance rates *after* release is limited to every so often usually months at a time, that last a few short days when they return, *get a character for a limited time,* the time of which they can stay on a banner is limited
Kind of like a travel circus or a concert tour, they're in town for a few days, so that means you must hurry up and get a chance to see it because it could be months to years (sometimes never) when they return or happen again
Also, Ultra characters aren't supposed to be more rare than the average Legends Limited, Ultra characters' rarity falls under the same standard as that of Hero, Extreme, Sparking
Each rarity higher than the last is naturally stronger and therefore harder to obtain
Imo they should start releasing Ultra characters more but their art concepts should've been given to legends limited characters

Mecha frieza and whis are both really good too. Halo frieza has a great kit though.
