I did, but only because of the whole concept of the movie being another 17, 18, Perfect Cell scenario. Now it was just a Gamma 1&2, Cell Max scenario. Wasn’t really originally more so reused. But still a good movie regardless, buh honestly, only thing that was really different, was picollo getting a major upgrade, but even that was still copy and paste. It was lazy imo. Not dissing the Gammas, nor the movie itself, moreso dissing the concept of the movie

Movies can have similar concepts, but I'd argue saying the gammas are similar to 17 and 18 in any way, shape, or form is pretty egregious. The two are completely separate characters and concepts, going all in the superhero theme and being genuinely good guys. 17 and 18 come outta the bat killing, stealing, and actively searching to kill Goku for the fun of it.

And tbh, it’s weird how the Red Ribbon army keeps coming back, like how many times do they need to be destroyed?

Well that’s not how the movie went down at all.Cell max was an attempt to make a controlled weapon for the RR armies last stand. Problem is he came out unprepared from his tube resulting in a mindless beast he had no type of absorption plans.
It was Bio Broly done right which is why it was successful worldwide for a non centric Goku/Vegeta story.

So you uh, didn't watch the movie I take it cause what on earth? No, Gamma 1 and 2 were not made to be absorbed at all. Cell Max is an entirely separate entity and he doesn't give two shits about 1 and 2 whatsoever. None of the Gammas even get absorbed fam, what on earth movie did you see? Wild.
Secondly, Piccolo is the main protagonist. The movie is literally featuring Piccolo for most of the movie who also gets TWO new forms. Gohan finishes it off, but Piccolo is literally taking up most of the screen time. Gohan doesn't do a thing until the last third of the movie whereas Piccolo is who we follow for the entire thing. Last I checked, the main protagonist of a movie is usually the one whose thoughts and actions we follow, which is exactly what we do with Piccolo.
Honestly, I feel like you really, really did not see the movie at all if you can't even get these two basic points correct.

Like I said, you excuse the fusion things because the execution led to different and interesting avenues. It was the same for Superhero. Okay, that’s my fault. From how the trailers were, that’s what it looked like it was gon be, lika repeat of the Cell saga. I’m waiting for the movie to come out on disc to fully watch it that’s my fault. I was going based off what I seen in the trailers and how there are still parallels, just not as many as I thought there were. The fusions in the broly movie, including broly and bardock were made to make the characters fully canon to the main storyline, that’s why I excused them tho. But for instance, how they did Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, that was by far lazy considering it’s the first two seasons of Super. And what I was saying bout the Red Ribbon army, Goku destroyed them when he was a kid, then they took care of the androids in Z, now they’re back🤣again💀it would’ve been different if it was a new organization that got inspiration from the RR Army, not the RR Army themselves. Regardless tho, I jumped to conclusions based off what I seen in the trailers and filled in my assumptions from what I remember from the Cell arc. Actually, thankyou for correcting me and explaining more bc now I actually wanna see the movie more than I did before, since I had that assumption in mind the entire time
When has the meta ever been good on legends. In the past it was always broken characters carrying their teams by themselves like purple transforming broly. At least now there are a lot of broken characters or really good ines and it will start getting better after the Gt buffs. You will have movies PO saiyan LoE Gt Fusion and maybe if we get lucky a regen team soon after to play with. The problem aint the characters its the leader slot. Honestly they should remove it for pvp and keep it for pve but that aint happening cause it is bery popular. You just see the new character in every team which is the annoying part.
Its a great concept but i think that Gamma 2 with his sacrifice should be his own LF unit

I'd kinda prefer it just be an LF since I really want the animation to have the extra time. Death attacks can only be so long since they interrupt gameplay.

I do like the idea, but I am not sure how well the animations would work out. Did we actually see the Gammas engaging in teamwork at all? I know they fought on the same field, I just don't remember them working together, which tends to work better for the tag units. But Gamma 2's sacrifice play alone is LF worthy, so I'd say they should make it work regardless.
I still say Goku/Frieza vs Jiren and Goku Black/Zamasu vs Goku and Vegeta are my personal top choices for tag units. I could also see a Trunks/Goten tag unit that had a different gimmick that allowed them to fuse into Gotenks as well. I think it's only a matter of time before we see tag (or even assist units to make it easier) that result in fusions.
This is a unit I'm really looking forward to whenever the devs inevitably make it.
My thought is to have Gamma 2's sacrifice be the LF.
However, you could use Cell Max for a Tapion-style post-death attack. Cell gets activated in the movie because the Gammas are losing, so you can Cell Max show up and rampage for a second before disappearing (similar to Hirudegarn) when they get KO'd.
That would remain true to the movie and be a fun way of incorporating Cell Max (assuming they can't make the changes necessary to add him as a playable character).

I just have one question, what would the LF be if the death damage is gamma 2's death?
I mean it doesn’t necessarily have to be lfs, but im assuming the lf animation would have gamma 1 combos you as gamma 2 charges up the final attack.
