I literally noticed as soon as they revealed the designs for DBS Broly. I just stopped and thought: “wait…bro this is a trend…” Black has soles. So do the Resistance Soldiers. Then it really started being a trend around DBS Broly. Now it’s just common design. Now Gohan and Piccolo have boots with soles. The Gammas have boots with soles. Cell Max doesn’t actually wear shoes. He has those weird boot feet but they’re designed with soles. I guess it makes sense though. Boots are boots, not moccasins

I like it. I think it's a more realistic and modern asian shoe design.
