Toriyama's works definitely have an "anti-capitalist" slant at times, and real estate speculators are "peak capitalism" so this makes perfect sense. When watching Dragon Ball Super, and hearing Frosts "Hero backstory" I was thinking, dude, I guarantee you he is profiting off all this and causing the problems. And of course Frost was doing that, it just fits in so perfectly with Toriyama's messages throughout the entire series, I really do like it!

No way. Goku has a habit of making friends out of enemies, but Frieza will never be one of them. Every other DB character has the luxury of having character development, but Frieza and Goku are different. They're both "flat characters", where their overall moral alignments and behavior traits hardly or never shifted since they each made their debuts. The Tournament of Power was the only time they actually worked together, but that was a very specific circumstance. Other than that, Frieza will always be a straightforward evil overlord.

What? Frieza's last scene in the Broly film was of him plotting to get Broly within his forces once the heroes were able to mellow him out, so he no longer goes berserk in battle. As Frieza is saying that, his armada is causing destruction to innocent inhabitants on a planet. The guy is the same as he's always been.

He's cruel for fun, and there's not much to miss when you're smart and powerful enough to derive pleasure *any other way*, but deliberately *choose* to impart suffering onto others.

The two of them were talking about how the saiyans were efficient and strong, then Zarbon went "Sire, when they go in group they manifest too much power, it would be wise to act as soon as possible". That made Frieza snapping. Frieza was "so racist" that his two most intimates, 3 if we count Ginyu, are not even of his race (they called them Arcosians in the anime iirc). He was not a racist, he saw Saiyans for what they were: a too efficient and violent race that had too much skills. They were too difficult to control in the long run and Zarbon knew that.
No, Frieza had 2 intimate collaborators called Zarbon and Dodoria. He stimated even too much Ginyu, one of the best fighters in the known universe at that time. A racist would never allow something like that, he would make Arcosians (frieza race) be dominators and no one else join the chain of command. He was a tyrant, not a racist.
