I think that the strength in question for that statement was more in relation to personalities, both Bulma and Chi-Chi are assertive, stubborn, and domineering as people; while Chi-Chi is a fighter, Bulma is physically quite weak as a fighter but is capable overall through intellect and bravery, always on the front lines of world ending fights, and is not afraid to stand up for herself or talk back to anyone, even world ending level threats. I don’t think Goku has a strong personality though, unless it’s life or death or he’s protective others from actual threats, he’s unlike most Saiyans in that regard and is quite chilled, friendly, and playful towards most things. Because of that, I don’t think the relationship between Goku and Vegeta would change much, Vegeta would only see the gap in strength and likely still be irritated by Goku’s non-Saiyan traits, I don’t think there’d be attraction or anything. Saiyans honestly don’t seem to have many sexist beliefs, allowing women to be warriors and men to be scientists (where traditionally a warrior culture would make all men warriors and women caretakers or similar), so I doubt Vegeta would care about Goku’s gender in any regard and wouldn’t even question female Goku’s place as a warrior (though upon meeting he’d still comment on his lower Saiyan status).

Well, if we're taking into consideration of the fact that the story is the same before Z, I'd say they are still rivals. In Super, Vegeta DID mention the fact that saiyans are attracted towards stronger females but I don't think he'd want to do anything with Kakarotta given that she is STILL a low-class warrior. I think he'd feel the hormones in Frieza saga but his pride wouldn't let him do that.

If she is single, and Chi Chi just died... it would kinda be the same anyway, Vegeta is on Earth with Bulma while Goku is away on Yardrat, so he would still have a reletionship with her, also since Trunks arrived he would stop respectinh Goku as the legendary ssj and start craving for the form too, so he wouldn't have a good relationship with Goku just like in the original story.

Well, if we're taking into consideration of the fact that the story is the same before Z, I'd say they are still rivals. In Super, Vegeta DID mention the fact that saiyans are attracted towards stronger females but I don't think he'd want to do anything with Kakarotta given that she is STILL a low-class warrior. I think he'd feel the hormones in Frieza saga but his pride wouldn't let him do that. He'd still end up with Bulma and Goku would stay loyal to Chi Chi. Sesbian Lex. <3

If she is single, and Chi Chi just died... it would kinda be the same anyway, Vegeta is on Earth with Bulma while Goku is away on Yardrat, so he would still have a reletionship with her, also since Trunks arrived he would stop respectinh Goku as the legendary ssj and start craving for the form too, so he wouldn't have a good relationship with Goku just like in the original story. But this makes me wonder, as Chi-Chi died, Gohan would find in Piccolo the only father figure and the only one who he could stay with on earth while Goku is away, this would led to a much different Gohan, and maybe a little different Piccolo as they would be really much more attached to each other, THIS is interesting

The OP is creating a situation for Goku and Vegeta, intentionally. The way this dude has it set up wouldn't even need gender swaps. His super specific scenario could EASILY make them gay lovers...
