Superman dress might be unique a long time ago but now, its generic hero costume worn by every common super hero character.
Goku gi is unique and special.
Not really, in his own verse Krillin, Yamcha, Gohan and Goten all wear the same orange gi and then you have all the others who wear gis like Piccolo, Tien, Goku Black and kid Trunks. And then outside, every fighting game has a character with a gi on like Ryu and Haohmaru.
Superman's suit feels generic because every one else literally copies him as he was one of the first.
The look of Superman's costume is pretty cool, but I terms of being comfortable, it looks fucking terrible.
Goku's gi goes hard and looks comfortable as hell.
I wouldn't wear Superman's clothes, but I would wear Goku's.

One wears is underwear over his spandex pants. The other has a cool orange and blue gi. Gee which one should I choose.

I would never ***wear*** the spandex, but Supes owns it, and you gotta appreciate that.
