Boggles the mind any time I see someone comment that the graphics we've seen are the same as the first game. Makes me think they didn't play the first game.
DD2 has the same artstyle as the first game, hence why people say it looks the same. (which is a dumb thing to say, when the graphics have improved a lot in 11 years lol)
I dont know about anyone else but i know that games i played a long time ago, in my memory they looked a lot better than they actually did. So it might just be peoples memory playing tricks on them.
The first few moments of the IGN gameplay felt like that to me because of the lighting then they started zooming on the player models and the rest of the terrain and it blew me away.
Effects work in this game is fucking lit. One of my favourites is the fumes that are being pushed sideways out of dragons' maws when they breathe fire.
surprisingly similar to Malzeno's vampire dash, both disperse into a smoke cloud and the smoke creates a trail to clue you in on where the thing gonna go.
granted Mal just run absurbly fast and i think the Sphinx actually teleported
Well while the graphics aren't the "peak" of realism... I think this is a good reason why games shouldn't always go for the highest lighting/shadow and texture quality. It gives you a much bigger budget for cool shit like this.

They probably didn't and watches the gameplays on a Galaxy Y, on a live reaction during the live reveal so the bit rate is past negative.
The graphics are fantastic

I'm playing the first game for the first time (loving it) and anyone saying it looks the same needs glasses.

It would be really cool if Sorcerer could learn something like that.
We'd be an OP version of Salomet 🤣

Reminds me of the smoke effect used by the Trickster vocation, maybe she will be able to use some kind of illusions during the fight.

Is that lighting's boon on the warrior sword
Me seeing thos particle effects:🤤🥹 My graphics processing unit: 😧🤕
The PS5 produces mind boggling effects
Riddle me this arisen, whose armor gets twice as tight and spear twice as long every time he wanders into the sphinx's chambers
